I would guess it should be easy enough to find a reed switch or pressure switch from grainger which could be set to detect the unit in the lower position to disconnect the electricity.

Mike are you referring to the direct wired switch?

I guess I've only used the remote - and you don't have to hold the button on it.

We never mounted the direct wired switch...seems like with our society if you don't have a remote, they wouldn't use it anyway.

obviously as you have figured out that would be a difficult accessory to make...but if the molding you have here works you can simply load it into the display part editor - add texture etc and then save it to a directory. At that point you can load it into the cabinet editor and resize it ...
