What a Newbie move... Sorry
Seems I combined a poll with a request for information, here is the post without the poll... DOH. I've been trying to use the Drawing Editor to create a dimensioned floor plan. The issue I'm running into is that after I've placed a number of dimensions, zooming in and out repeatedly during this proc...

Anomolies in the Drawing Editor.
I've been trying to use the Drawing Editor to create a dimensioned floor plan. The issue I'm running into is that after I've placed a number of dimensions, zooming in and out repeatedly during this process, my dimension text shifts to and remains at a very small font size. This seems to \"stick...

Zoom issue part 2
Ok now this is weird... I don't know if it was some combination of zooming then panning and rotating and then zooming again that was causing the issue, but now it seems as though I cannot duplicate the issue I was seeing before. The only thing I did differently was to see how far I could zoom using ...

Don't go there...
I have to agree, as far as Vista is concerned do yourself a BIG favor and wait. I'd recommend waiting till MS issues it's first service pack on the product at the very least. In my many years of experience I've seen far too many disasters caused by users rushing to upgrade to the latest and \"g...

Zoom issue
I seem to be experiencing an issue with using the zoom feature at the top level of the application, and in the presentation view. When I attempt to zoom using the shift key and both mouse buttons, the view does zoom, but only to a point. After that the view disappears, and the only way back is to us...

Know what you mean about needing the second POT Dan. Thanks for the offer of the kick Mike, but my butt's still sore from closing down the first time. :P A Happy New Year to all, and thanks for the support. Lorin PS. Given the definition of insanity I've heard, which is doing the same things...

No, they are gone but...
After scratching my head a bit, I realized that the machine I had version 4 installed on suffered a hard drive crash many months ago. I believe this is what caused the loss of my cabinet libraries, not the install of V5. Sorry for blaming the software for my lapse/loss of memory, guess I'm headed fo...

Door creation question.
I have been trying to create a custom door in the door/drawer editor and I'm not having any success. The style of the door is basically a slab with a 3/8 rabbit on the edge facing the carcass, with a molding that has a positive profile attached to the face of the slab with the same rectangular shape...

HSF's end up looking weird...
I'm running into an issue with display objects. the double sink from the supplied librarles in this example. When I place it into the job, it looks fine for a while. Then after changing views from overhead to wall, all of a sudden it ends up distorted, like it's from the Bazzaro world. It looks as t...

Re:
Lorin, Once you've created your countertop, highlight it by double clicking, then right mouse click and choose 'Part Editor' from the pop-up menu. Once in Part Editor, make your cutout first, then profile the edge(s) if you wish. Just remember to make your cutout first, as Part Editor won't allow g...

Create countertops is great, but...
Is there a way to create a cutout for a sink? When I insert a hsf of a sink into the created coutertop, since there is no cutout for the sink, the countertop texture end up in the bowls of the sink. Needless to say this ends up looking a bit weird... I'm wondering, How do other users deal with this ...

Cabinet libraries missing after upgrade from V4 to V5.
Ok so I finally upgraded to version 5, and in the process I seem to have lost my personal cabinet libraries. Is this normal? Did I miss some warning about the install over writing my libraries? Needless to say I'm not very happy about this...
