Re:
Well, that ain't it...I put a bunch of dims and the title block and the job saved in about 3 seconds with about 20,000 objects. I never even attempted to save it with the title block, I only use it for spacing. I delete it, save the dimensioned drawing as a job file, export a .PDF file, then use a ...

Re:
I have no problems at all taking the assembly to the LDE, adding dimensions to it, then saving the file. It only shows 17,468 objects when saving so that shouldn't take much memory at all. Yup. I figured as much. Any bets on whether or not this gets blamed on my OS? Thanks for checkin' it ou...

Deleting assemblies
Anyone else find this annoying? From within the Load Item popup window, sometimes (more often than not lately) I can NOT delete assemblies by checking them and using the Delete Checked Items button. The checkmarks appear in the boxes that I select, but clicking on the Delete Checked Items button has...

Never had this error before....
I was in the LDE with a mantle assembly and tried selecting my title block to delete it. This was my 2nd try at dimensioning the mantle, the first time I got everything all set, the title block deleted, but the software crapped out on me while trying to save. (I should have output the .PDF file firs...

Re:
Mike, I have the Grizzly book with all of their stuff. THis will be my first shaper and I really dont know anything about them. I just like the price Grizzly has to offer. I can get the 3hp shaper with a 1hp feeder for around two thousand. I wonder if my router bits will be any use with the shaper....

I used to use actual dimensions and full dados before Mike Murray started cutting parts for me. After the first job (where I insisted on full dados against Mike's suggestion of blind dados) I quickly changed my mind. In order to get a perfect fit on your dados, you need to know which sheet will be c...

David, Sorry to hear about your hand, and I'm glad you'll regain full use of it. Sorry to hear about your lil buddy too. I, too, have many stories to relate about jobsite/shop safety (usually a lack thereof) including 'dead spots' on both thumbs and 1 finger (all separate incidents) and just last ye...

It would be nice to be able to associate any/everything that's selected. However, the best way I've found to associate 'on the fly' is to add my objects while in the elevation view of the wall I want them associated to. You don't have to actually select/choose associate. So if I know in advance what...
