Egg-n-Dart Molding install problems

Am attempting to install the Conestoga Egg-n-Dart molding and the molding is not going all the way to the end of the cabinet and not mitering on the ends? Has anyone experienced this? I've tried to place it via Load item and also as the default selected molding and neither one works as it should. Th...

Re: V5.2 Freezing

Justin,

I just open the file, and click anywhere and it freezes. Sorry about not posting the file earlier. Should have realized you would need it.

Thanks,

Re: V5.2 Freezing

Well, now it is freezing instantly when I click anywhere in this particular assembly. This does not happen in other assemblies I have created. Something about this particular one is locking ecabs down.

V5.2 Freezing

Upgraded to the latest and greatest, but now when I'm working with an assembly that was created in an earlier version(s) it is freezing ecabs at various times. My computer specs are as follows: Dell Precision Workstation 390 w/ 1 GB ram Windows XP SP2 ; Nvidia Quadro NVS 285 video card. Any suggesti...

Go to http://www.ecabinetsystems.com and click on the software link on the left hand side. Here you will see a link called Recommended Systems. Click on that and you'll see what ecabs recommends for a laptop system.

Display Panel Associations

On an assembly I'm working on now, I've had to load several display panels and then associate them to a cabinet. Some have associated as they are supposed to, but others when I select a cabinet to associate the panel to they flip and flop every way but where you want the panel to align. Is this a bu...

Hey Kerry, you know it's the simple things that will get you. I've been harassed by this program for 2 straight days now. :) I was finally able to accomplish what I needed by crossing the two lines and trimming them. I looked for the snap setting, but couldn't find it. Finally after revisiting it af...

Hey Paul, Thanks for the reply. I finally got it to work! Don't know if this was the solution or not, but I enlarged my pick box size and that worked on one of the arcs. Didn't work on the other, so I exited the contour area and went into the main part editor area and performed one of the operations...

There is probably a very simple answer to this question. I have been attempting to make a curved panel as illustrated by Kerry in this thread. Once I have drawn a three point arc and off set my second one I am unable to draw lines that succesfully connect to the 3 point arc in order to create a clos...

Although, it would be nice to be able to specify which edge(s) you wanted. I don't need all 4 edges banded on this situation, just 2 to 3 edges here. Oh well, can't complain the software has allowed me to do things I never would have been able to accomplish in the first place.

Thanks guys. Many times I (maybe we) get so wrapped up in finding a solution it eludes us because we're too close to it. That's a great suggestion Nick. Thanks for the help fellows.

Thanks Michael, That's a good idea, but not exactly what I was looking for. I'm doing some commercial laminate casework, and I'm attempting to design a desk where it has small pencil like drawers underneath and you can sit underneath it with a chair (open underneath and attached to the wall at the b...
