Re: THM sync on Win XP control

I used to do tech support for an ISP back in the day. If I had a nickel for every time I said "Now click on Windows Explorer" and heard "I don't have that!", then I wouldn't need to be in the woodworking business... Now, I'm trying to get printing from the THM desktop to work, so...

Re: THM sync on Win XP control

I got it. I (being Old Skool) am used to looking in Program Files for programs. And, indeed, there is an identical file tree for THM in Program Files (x86)... I had copied all the files there. I had assumed when you typed "ProgramData", you meant Program Files  . Especially after I l...

Re: THM sync on Win XP control

Thanks Clint. That mostly worked. Control Nesting now has all the proper settings, but the tools and machine variables still show all the default values. Do they perhaps need to go in a different directory? I tried putting toolman.thm in a subdirectory called "system", but that didn't work...

Re: THM sync on Win XP control

That doesn't import the settings from the control software, just Control Nesting. Not sure if it worked, because when i try to open Control Nesting, it says it can't find Offfalls.mdb. No way to cancel out of it either, curiously... I have to kill it from the task manager.

THM sync on Win XP control

Trying to run the THM sync program on my Win XP controller, and I get the error message "The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" Poking around online, and it looks like it requires Win XP SP3 to run. The contro...

Re: THM Desktop on 10 year old machine

My next question is, how does one go about purchasing it? It doesn't seem to be referenced anywhere on the Thermwood website that I can find.

Re: THM Desktop on 10 year old machine

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Been thinking about getting the desktop version to interface with our CS41.

Re: part editor closed contor, line info

It's still there, on my screen. At the very bottom. Maybe your window is larger than your screen and that info is pushed off the bottom?

Re: Stretcher bug

We have been having the same issues - dados changing position, disappearing altogether, etc. when going from eCabs to the CNC. We decided to try to get to the bottom of it, and I'm thinking (hoping) that this stretcher bug may be the root of a lot of our woes.

Control upgrade

I sent an email to retrofits@thermwood.com on June 26th. Nearly a month later, and I haven't gotten any response. Is that email address no good? Just in case, I'm pasting the email in this post here. _______ Hello, I'm interested in getting a quote on upgrading the computer in our controller. The ma...

Re: Error message

The official fix for that problem is to duct-tape a vacuum cleaner filter over the air conditioner outlet. (It worked in the movie, anyway!)
