Re: Beaded panels in doors.

For anyone who wants them - the files for cutting 2 hinge holes and 3. I'm in the US - I don't know how these will work with metric. Test em out first. Questions let me know.

Re: Beaded panels in doors.

Nevillie, I wrote code to do the hinge holes. Input hinge spacing etc. and the machine cuts the cups holes, etc. I could post if you'd like. it sure beats doing them by hand.

Re: Pocket screws not saving with cabinet

Figured this out. If you don't have a product code in the hardware setting it won't take.

Pocket screws not saving with cabinet

I've got the pocket hole jointery on the cab. I select the part containing the pocket screw and on the right flyout menu select pocket screw, find the hardware and say yes to default. Run the cost sheet and the pocket screws show. Save the cab and then pull it back in. Run the cost sheet and no pock...

Re: New Pocket Screw Joinery

I just got done cutting my first pocket hole.

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine the challenges the programmers had in figuring this one out, but Kudos's to them!

I haven't even explored the other additions to e-cabs, but this tickles my fancy.

Thank you very much

Re: New Forum Category

Scott,

Nice example of the power available. Un less I missed it, I would include a calc for quantity used and cost. I'd sure contribute. I am sure others would have things that they want. After hearing what they want I'll bet I'd be saying why didn't I think of that?"

Re: New Forum Category

Agreed. I never used the cut list for quite some time and then only for very limited things. There was to much info that I didn't want. I had used excel and macros many years in the past so when I recognized the opportunity one thing lead to another. The Key to the cut list is to capitalize on the i...

Re: New Forum Category

Scott,

Just watched a couple of the VBA videos. Very good - now I can at least start to understand what's happening when I look at the code. I'll continue with this series. Thanks

Re: New Forum Category

Just so clarify a little about macros and VB. Macros are easy - you just click a button that says record. When you have done what you want you click stop recording. There are intelligent functions that macros can't do - Find the end of data as an example. This is where you need VB. I know nothing mo...
