No, I haven't figured out a way to do it through applied hardware settings or anything.
I ended up making a couple of Part Editor "blocks" that I can bring in and then use Constraint Manager to move them into the correct spot. It's a couple of extra steps, but it works

Nesting Errors
Our machine operator just came in with a problem with nesting his next job. Control Nesting won't let him nest anything, and spits out the following 2 errors:
- No Current Record
- Internal Application Error
Any ideas?

Re: opening locks ignored in excel batch import
pocket cuts are handled differently than dadoes on the machine... takes longer, extra passes. I have come up with a work-around for this part by adding a phantom top and bottom and then placing a stretcher between them, full-dadoed into the back, and locked to the correct location. after some prelim...

Re: opening locks ignored in excel batch import
Any chance someone at Thermwood, or someone who uses excel batch inports extensively, could take a look at this? Really need this to work in order to continue with the evolution of our processes in the shop (moving more of the production to the Thermwood), can't use it at all right now with this iss...

opening locks ignored in excel batch import
I have encountered an issue with the opening locks on partitions when importing a cabinet through the "import batch list from excel" button... it ignores the lock, yet says it is still active. To mass-produce just the top and bottoms for some of our cabinets, I have created a model with ev...

Re: multi-piece components
I agree. It would be great to be able to build say a 9' tall cabinet and set a cut point so that you could cut it from 8' sheets and joint the parts after cutting. An option to set a cut height on individual parts from top or bottom would be helpful to avoid needing to add phantom cabinets.

importing batch from excel - corner cab
Is there a way to import a corner cabinet from excel and set the left and right back widths at time of import? Do you need to leave the width and depth columns blank?

and it still does not associate the hole in the shelf to the holes in the gables... could easily end up adjusting one and forgetting the other

Re: Drill adj shelf bottom for shelf pin
That works fine if you are full-line boring your gables, but it's a bit more tricky and cumbersome to adjust sizes if you are going for a shorter bank of holes for each shelf.

Re: Drill adj shelf bottom for shelf pin
I believe that you would have to build your cabinet with "fixed shelves" acting as adjustable shelves in order to get the kd holes to work... problem is that it won't give you the bank of shelf holes any more, just one... or it will give you a bank of holes that can only run up from the sh...
