I guess I need to read the thread topic. Dan you are correct.
It actually seems like the title and post ask two different questions. I only addressed the first. The second question has been discussed at length previously, and your summary was a good reply to that larger question.

The \"alpine 40sheen\" option will display the door in opaque white. It is confusing, because the white display sample is the same color as the background -- -just click in the white space above the word \"alpine 40sheen\". Have a look at the options I selected in this screenshot...

Re:

They said all they have for the bench is $500.00?? For that I could make it out of 3/4" CDX! (Bad 2 sides) With a Skil saw, Liquid Nails, 1" staples, and galvanized T-hinges from Home Depot. Standard restaurant grade, I'm afraid. (I just quoted matching some existing booth seat boxes made...

I'm going to run it by the guys at Thermwood, and see what they prefer. As stated, it's complicated and could introduce complications in support. I'm in their house, and need to make sure I don't break their rules.

Awl bee derned. I had always assumed rendered mode was pretty non-interactive. Just goes to show... If I'm not careful, I just my learn something every day.

Now, am I missing a way to change the height of lights, so I can tuck them under soffits or inside curio cabinets and such?

What are you doing, renaming the color files and reopening the job?

My brutal kludge is detailed in a PM to you. Let me know what you think.

I run into that situation on nearly every job. I do mainly built-ins and closets, so backless, frameless, doorless assemblies are my mainstay. I always hear \"can I see it in maple/white/oak\"? I have found a very dirty trick for substituting a global texture change quickly, but I really c...

Jason, I've sent the files. Thanks for looking into them. I believe I have a more accurate description of what is happening: the texture that is supposed to be covering the the surface of the cut portion at the top of the header wall is instead being applied at floor level. It's not a full-thickness...

Was there any fix for this? I'm trying to do the same thing, and it's getting the same result. I'm using Build 12.

Thanks,

Kerry, Have you looked through the system log, via Event Viewer? There may be some info in there that could help. If you go to Start/Run and type in eventvwr it will pull up the viewer window. Look through the System and Application sections, and note any \"red X\" messages or \"yello...
