updated driver and it works should have thought of this sooner.
Thanks, Scott!

Black Screen in Editors with Win 7 & Build 14
I just upgraded my computer from Win XP to Win 7 and loaded Build 14 on it. Every editor comes up as a black screen as shown in the screen shot.
I uninstalled and reinstalled 14 and I get the same results. Has anyone else experienced this??
Thanks, John

Is there a way to estimate cut time for a job?
Does anyone know if there is a way to estimate how long it will take to cut a job? I have a customer who have a large number of duplicate small pieces and I would like to be able to figure how long the whole job will take to cut so I can plan our production schedule.
Any ideas?
Thanks! ...John

Try restarting Ecabinets. Sometimes that is a simple remedy.

Re: Screen Measurements
Hi Myron, I am not seeing a way to get a dimension from a cabinet to a window.
You are able to set a standard dimension as to the closest a cabinet can be placed to a window or other objects. See link below.

Stretcher Inset Associations under Advanced Button
I just saw this new addition to eCab with build 9...I know I'm a bit behind.
Has anyone used this?
It really looks like it has some good potential for working with stretchers.
Thanks TWD!!

Re: office downloads and downloads in general
On your office furinture downloads, the ecab program cannot read the file. The Ecab program searches for .esj and the file I have is a .esa (yes, I may have gotten the file types backwards, but the result is the same). Peter, the "esa" files are assemblies and the "esj" files ar...

Re: Control Nesting Tree
Hi Josh, that is what I have ended up doing. I just figured it would be a nice addition to the CN, if it isn't a big deal to implement.Josh Rayburn wrote:John, why not just put the drawers on a different material then filter by material at CN?

Control Nesting Tree
In Control Nesting, when a job is first loaded, the tree on the left contains all the parts in the job. Would it be possible to be able to change the layout so it classifies the drawer parts under the drawer box so the drawer box can be checked instead having to go through each part? The reason behi...

Locking Fixed Shelves for Door Openings
Here is an idea that I would like to get some feedback on... We will often build wall units that have shared panels, so a cabinet will have multiple partions. In these cabinets we will add some fixed shelves, behind doors, for various reasons. Because of this, things can get a bit complicated and th...
