Re: Convert .x_t files format

They were created in UGS Solid Edge, and the assemblies can only be exported in the following formats: .UG, .IGES, .STEP, .XGL, .XML, .CATIA, Prodcutvision Document, and Parasolid Document

Thanks,

Convert .x_t files format

What would be the process of converting a .x_t file and getting it into eCab? .x_t is a parasolid file format.

Thanks

Re: Importing Parasolids?

I just noticed several threads down there is a similar topic, I'll take a look at accutran 3d and see if it can convert it to .stl.

Re: Is eCabinet a closed software architecture?

I'm just curious; why do you ask? It seems that the most successful and popular softwares are the ones that have an open architecture for third parties to create plug-ins. Also now a days it is easy to have programers create plugins for software, there are a few features that would make eCab more u...

Re: Is eCabinet a closed software architecture?

Currently, we do not offer the ability to write your own plug-ins Will this be a possibility in the near future? What exactly would you like to see added to eCabinets 1-In the drafting mode I would like to have the option to add tick marks instead of arrows to leader line terminators for dimensioni...

Re: Is eCabinet a closed software architecture?

The reason I ask is there are a few added features to eCab that would make the process a lot easier for our company to use the software, and now a days it is not difficult to get a programmer to create a simple overlay application or plug-in to existing software.

Nested face frames puzzle joints?

I am curious if any one have successfully integrated face frame puzzle joints into projects? I could see when edge banding is not an issue it may work great on some projects. I am just interested in some feed back on the pros & cons.

Thanks,

Applying pilaster molding?

What would be the eCab software strategy to apply molding to all four edges of a stile to create a pilaster look, like picture frame molding?

Thanks

Scot,

I'm glad you got a lot out of the class. I've been wanting to take the class for the last 6 month, I just have not had the time. What was the one or two most valuable features about eCabinet that you learned from the class, that you probably would have never learned through manual?
