cut list by job
Is there a way to have the cutlist combine cabinets? I have 2 identical cabinets, I just want to double the qty. Also list larger to smaller?

Re: changing rendering color 1 side
Yes Tim, it's just the display cube. Too bad there wasn't a "copy & paste" for colors, wood-grains, etc.

changing rendering color 1 side
I have a customer that wants to see color changes frequently. Is there a way to change the color on just 1 side of a display cube?

parts nested
I like to make my top stretchers out of different material than carcass. I would like them to show up in the cutting list, but not in the nesting. I thought there was a way to do this. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

Re: ISLAND TOE
Thanks Mark, I guess I'll have to try it that way. I have trouble with the insert target xyz point. Since I want the toe recessed, is there a way to align the nodes or would I have to use the move increment method?

Re: ISLAND TOE
I was able to get it to the rendering stage. In cabinet editor, go to constr. settings, toe, uncheck "has toe", make height and inset "0", back to standard cabinet, load standard detached toe, change sizes, associate them to walls, move them into proper position. However I can't ...

I'm noticing I can't get the rendering to show the textures I've changed, but the presentation view will. This is fine except, how can I get the presentation view background to be NOT gradient? Or to get the render view to show the changed textures on everything? Display cubes textures have been tri...

Re: rotating display cube
Another item I'm struggling with is the way items get loaded onto the xyz point and having to move them into correct position. Is there a way to disable that feature? Just want to load a cabinet or panel or cube and snap into position.

I was able to separate in custom layout. When display cube is crosshatched, it not move to assembly/part editor. Other cabinets will.

rotating display cube
I'm trying to put a laminate wall attached to the side of a cabinet. 24 wide 84 tall 4 deep. I'm having trouble rotating into proper position. Do all the adjustments need to happen in the assembly editor? When wall(cube) is associated to cabinet and both are crosshatched, it wont bring the cube with...

Re: ISLAND TOE
Thank you Scott, that is the exact corner cabinet i'm working on. I'll try your system, but are any admins looking at how overly complicated this process is? Thank's Don but I'm looking for the ecab design process, not the actual shop/site construction method.

Re: ISLAND TOE
I believe so. My problem is that when I try to make a display panel for the finished back not going down to the floor, the heights get confusing because with a detached toe, the height is shown including the detached toe. Have multiple hts on the same job and things get confusing. The reason I foole...

ISLAND TOE
Anybody have a good way to keep cabinets on the floor? When I shorten a cabinet in height, it raises it to match top of others. Could be detached toe. Also still looking for a way to have toe kicks front, back and side on island cabinet.
