Re: adding a custom wall texture
Took a look at the preview yesterday, liked what I saw. Can't get anything for $25 these days. How detailed are the videos? Is it just an expanded version of the help section? I don't find the help manual that comes with this program very useful. Bone heads like me need stuff spelled out. If I...

Re: Display panels on end of cabinet?
I have another question too. Why doesn't it build the side wall of the cabinet so that it's the same length as the face frame? Is there some way to edit the length of that side wall? Upper cabinets sometimes have under the cabinet lighting. If the side isn't equal to the face frame then the lighting...

Re: Display panels on end of cabinet?
Scott Same PITA file I sent you before. It's the cabinet over the refrigerator. Rick I did that too then I didn't have any sides on it at all. :fire: I finally fixed the problem, I deleted the whole cabinet and started over. Now it's right :joker: I do have another question though. If I set my board...

Display panels on end of cabinet?
I don't know how I ended up with display panels on the sides of this cabinet, but I can't get rid of them. I've taken it into the cabinet editor, tried delete, tried a texture match. I could shuffle it by, but the different color sticks out like a sore thumb in the presentation mode. Any ideas?

adding a custom wall texture
I created a jpg of the actual wallpaper in this room. I then resized it (smaller) and added it as an image in the wallpaper section. (I tried it in the user defined folder too same thing.) I then clicked on the walls and selected modify texture. I went in selected the new image and this is what I go...

Re: How do I add an image to a display cube?
I manage to export it as an hsf file, but you were right it distorted when I tried to use the image. Do I need a program for creating 3D objects? At one time there used to be a bunch on files available in the 3D file share, but I don't see much there anymore. Did that change some where along the lin...

Re: Problem with Presentation Mode
Scott Thanks for taking a look. The cabinets that disappeared were there in a presentation I had made just a few seconds before. I was only adjusting lights. It's been also been freezing when I try to do a save JPG too. I can take a screen shot, take it to paint then save it, but I shouldn't have to...

Re: Problem with Presentation Mode
Scott I tried to attach that file but I think it must be too big. Even zipped it's 15MB I did attach my specs. I have a 1 TB hard drive with a ton of space available. Today it's giving me a new headache. The file "out in space" is one. I tried changing the color of the appliances. When I t...

Re: Problem with Presentation Mode
Well today it's still at it. Here is another shot. Notice half of the cabinets are gone (all of the base cabinets) Some of the display objects are gone and parts of other display objects are missing, bi-fold doors. I'm trying to experiment with lighting and it's really frustrating when the under the...

Problem with Presentation Mode
This is what I keep getting when I try to render something. Obviously needs a fix. A couple of times it worked today but when I tried adjusting my lighting. It started striping everything piece by piece out of the room. There is also a problem (might be me) with reflections. I'm getting reflections ...

Finally got it, but I guess I was trying to ask if it was possible to make that into an hsf?
