Failed to create empty document error
My copy of ecabs has been working OK until this morning. I just got the "Failed to create empty document" error. I did a "repair" re-install to no avail. Now what?

I downloaded the update to ecabs this morning, and that seems to have fixed it.

Software hangs while printing drawings
Been an ecabs user for 7 or 8 years, and it just started to hang up while printing drawings. I'm using the latest version, and it has printed normally in the past. I can't think of any changes to my system that might account for the problem.
Any help?

Re: Shop Bot link work with other routers?
Thanks for all the good input. As stated, I'd love to stay with Thermwood since I've been using the software for so long, but even a used machine is considerably out of our price range, and there don't seem to be many available. Outside the Thermwood community, the Shop Bot does not have a great rep...

Shop Bot link work with other routers?
I'm a long time ecabs user, and it's time for my business to buy its first router. A Thermwood router would be ideal, but is out of our price range for this first of (hopefully) many machines. I've looked at the Shop Bot and have found it to be inferior to another router that is actually priced a bi...

Re: Where is the "Hardware Selection" button
That's what I've been doing with no success. I'm using pulls that supported a 3d image in the last version, but they just don't show up. Is it possible I need a different pull?

Where is the "Hardware Selection" button
Trying to add pulls. When I try to "Add/Locate Pulls", I get a message that says "No Drawer Pull Selected! A Drawer Pull must first be selected via the 'Hardware Selection' button before a pull can be Added/Located." Where is this "Hardware Selection" button?

Not getting the overlays I specify
I'm designing a frameless job and am having trouble. The cabinet in question is a 6 drawer bath vanity, and when I add the doors, the software gives me overlays that are different from what I specify. For example, when I add a top drawer front and specify the following reveals: top 1/4" left 1/...

Re: Cabinet backs disappearing
Sometimes in the cabinet editor, sometimes while resizing in the room, sometimes while just adding the cabinet to the room.
Attached is a cabinet with the back gone.

Cabinet backs disappearing
I'm building a kitchen with frameless cabs, and I'm having trouble with the backs disappearing on some cabinets. The dados remain, but the backs are gone. Any suggestions?

Re: Phantom lines around modified display objects in drawings
I'm not sure I know the answer to that question. It's a desktop, and I did have to choose a video card when I specified the system with Dell.

Phantom lines around modified display objects in drawings
If I take a display cube to the part editor and modify it, when I take it to the line drawing editor, I see an outline of the original cube plus the new shape. Any way to get rid of these?
