Re: Breakaway head sensor?

I think he is referring to the main wiring connector on the front of the router spindle. There is a small screw that holds the plug in there. The Estop contacts can be very intermittent

Re: Breakaway head sensor?

Hi Jeremy, It is probably the contacts on the estop button. It is probably losing 24V when trying to enable. I would replace the normally closed contact on there. It is the Contact that has the blue wires. Our part # is LB00757. Mfg#IDEC HW-C01 CONTACT BLOCK 1NC RED (CE). Thanks!

Re: Feed Rate Dropping (cs-40)

Hello Jay, Im not sure if you have been helped with this issue. If not, I would check the chassis ground on the connector board and to the main control chassis first. If the ground screws or ground wires are loose, it can cause the voltages to fluctuate that control the 0-10V DC to the speed pot. Al...

Re: C- Axis issue..........!

Hello Mohammed, First thing to make sure of is that the axis 4 isnt wrapped all the way around in the positive direction and against the positive stop. Also, make sure that you can turn the gearbox pulley by hand with just a little force. If that is good and it is still faulting the Siemens drive, l...

Re: Tool change issues

Hi Make sure your main air pressure to the machine is 100 psi. The 58 lb guage is only for positive air flow to blow dust off during tool changes. Also, on the "cone release" side of the spindle, there is an in-line flow control valve. You can open it up all the way to make the drawbar rea...

Re: Machine just stops

Hello Georgi,
I researched the error. I believe it has to do with light curtains, or stop mats that were added to the machine. It is possibly a loose connection or a bad sensor causing the estop.

Re: Machine just stops

Hello Georgi, If the machine is randomly stopping like that it will be difficult to "pin point" the cause easily. The next time it goes into e-stop, go to the plc screen and read the current error that shows up. That will get us pointed in the right direction. It may be as simple as dirty ...
