I figured out how to edit once installed, but it will not let me control color, though, only select from about 4 choices.

Ok I figured out how to change the sheet stock and face frames to the desired color in the cabinet editor, but it will not let me change the door from the slab oak one to a RP door.

What am I doing wrong?

That would be why it wouldn't work, then. I'll try it the other way. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I tried to change using the display cube, but I couldn't get it to change the color of the cabinets.

changing color of cabinets

Hey guys, Another rookie question here but, what is the best way to change the look of the cabinets. I need to make a set that is white/off white (glazed if possible) and some dark stained oak ones as well in the same job. Should I be making the cabinets and put them in the detail room and then chan...

Thanks for that tip. I don't need to hold the shift key, but holding it doesn't affect it either.

selecting an item

How do you select a specific item?
I cannot select an item in the detail room that is covered by another item. Specifically a cabinet under a countertop or an appliance under a cabinet.
Thanks.

The way I did it seemed to work out in the end, but I would prefer to place the oven in the cabinet in the cabinet editor before installing the cabinet in the detail room. How would I do this? Also, how do I use 3D images downloaded off of the forum? I clicked on download but I have no idea where it...

Ok I figured out how to look at the other side of the wall. The side I placed the cabinets on is the back for some reason. I was able to move the cube but I had to delete the cabinet it resides in, move the cube and then replace the cabinet free style. I'm sure thats not the proper way, but it worked.

Thanks for the replies.
Two problems.
One, if the display cube is sitting in the cabinet (but on the floor) I can only highlight the cabinet, not the cube.
Two, when I select show wall elevation, it shows me the back of the wall.

built in oven placement

I have make a display cube of the appliance in the proper size and I have made a cabinet to receive it. The help manual says to place it in...
