Re: Error retrieving part name information
Todd, You mentioned receiving an error regarding the CNC code for the center panel while researching this issure. Here is some additional info I learned today that might help. The steps to duplicate this error are below. 1. Define a board stock called 1/4 Ply with dimensions 48 X 96 X 1/4. 2. Select...

Re: Error retrieving part name information
I've ssen the error about the center panel before, but it's not the latest I'm getting. I'm not at a place right now where I can try it again, but I'll try it later this evening and let you know the exact error message.

Re: Error retrieving part name information
Hey Todd,
I must be missing something. I'm trying to run my next job, and I did as you outlined here and gave each door a unique name in the cabinet editor, but I'm still getting the error at the control in the five piece door program. I'm not sure where to go from here...

Re: Error retrieving part name information
Hey Todd, I just had this happen again. I've zipped and attached the .hsf file in question. The problem seems to be coming from Cab #7 in the list at the moment. If I save that particular cabinet and add it to a new job by itself, then it writes the code fine at the control. I also had it happen to ...

Re: Drawbar down switch has not closed
I'm curious, Pete. Why did it work the next day? Is there a time out value for it to reset, or something. I guess I'm wondering why it worked when nothing changed to make it work.
Thanks,
Todd
Thanks,
Todd

Re: Drawbar down switch has not closed
Thanks, Joe. I did check that yesterday, and all guages showed normal. 100psi at the machine, and 58psi on the guage when the collet tries to open. Incidentally, I ran the machine for a couple of hours today, and no indication of a problem. I guess that's a good thing, but I always like it when ther...

Drawbar down switch has not closed
I went out to run some dovetail drawers yesterday and when the router tried to do a tool change I got "Drawbar down switch has not closed. Check to make sure the manual/program switch is set to program..." I was all geared up to call tech support today, but I tried it before calling and it...

Re: Error retrieving part name information
Hi Todd,
Yeah, I ended up creating smaller batches of cabinets from the larger job, and they all worked okay, so I'm not sure what was going on.
Thanks for the response.

Re: 5 piece doors, but no raised panel
Thanks for the good suggestions, eveyone. I would still like to have the ability to choose sheet stock in the door setup, and see the panels in the nest, but in the meantime I'll use some of the other methods you've suggested. Thanks again.

Error retrieving part name information
I've got a job with 35 doors. I created and sent the .twd file to the router without any problem. When I go into the 5 piece door program at the control and select only certain parts, I keep getting "error retrieving part name information" when I try to write the CNC code. Has anyone ever ...

5 piece doors, but no raised panel
I'm designing a kitchen where the client wants 5 piece doors, but no raised panel in the middle, just 1/4 flat panel. Is it possible to specify sheet stock for door panels and nest them? I've tried some different things, but I can't seem to make it work. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
