Re: Rotating screen in presentation view

I kind of figured that would be the only option. It's a little difficult working upside down though.

Rotating screen in presentation view

I'm working on a coffered ceiling and I'm having a difficult time getting a good view of the ceiling in the presentation view. The software won't allow rotation below the horizontal plane of the floor. Is there any way around this. In the cabinet assembly screen rotation is completely free allowing ...

enkeboll corbell

Could someone please help me to convert these two Enkeboll Arts and Crafts corbels for me. I've downloaded the .dwg from the enkeboll website and need them converted to .stl so I can load them into ecabs. Thank you.

Re: Free texture!

I'm trying to import one of the granite images to use for countertops. I have it set to "tile" image, but it's way to big. Is there a way to scale the images so they are at the correct proportion?

Re: Design and finished job

Beautiful work. I invested in an inexpensive metal detector, which helps for working with the reclaimed materials.

Re-sizeable face frame bead

I frequently use beaded face frames with inset doors on my cabinets. This cabinet file is a resizeable 7/16" frame with mitered corners and a bead profile. 7_16 bead resizeable.hsf All you need to do is figure out your opening size in your cabinet using the face frame editor, load the bead file...

arched mullions

I created these arched mullions in the display part editor using 3 point arcs and profiling the edges. When I return to the cabinet assembly screen, the arcs become distorted and are no longer perfect curves. I'm looking to have these cut on a router, and I'm wondering if this distortion is only in ...

22 1/2 degree miter

Is it possible to miter a custom molding at 22 1/2 degrees? I can do 45 degree miters easily on custom moldings using the chamfer tool in the parts editor before profiling the edge of the display cube, but I can't figure out how to do a 22 1/2 degree miter.

I think I might have figured out how to move my display parts as one unit. I found an old post that says to make one member of the group of parts a cabinet part, and then associate the rest of the display parts to the cabinet part. This can be saved as a cabinet and then manipulated as one unit. I'l...

Damon - I thought about doing this, but I couldn't figure out how to change the width of my stiles and rails. I need the stiles and rails on the end panel to be wider than they are on a typical door. The way I actually built this cabinet was to make the bottom rail a couple inches wider so that it d...

Grouping display parts

I'm new to this program and am trying to design one of my current projects on in eCabs as a learning experience. It is a free standing unit, finished on all four sides. The front and back have doors and drawer faces, and the left and right sides have matching panels. I've built an end panel for the ...

Mike and Damon, Thank you for your feedback regarding pilasters and molding. We are a small two man shop and would like to get away from doing to scale drawings by hand. The ecabinets software looks very powerful, and I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the photo presentations it generate...

pilasters and crown molding

Your entertainment center looks great! I noticed that your ecabinetsystem drawing does not have pilasters. Do you know if it's possible to design applied pilasters on cabinets with this software? If you can add pilasters to cabinets, is it possible to show the crown wrapping around the pilasters, as...
