Thanks Peter - for now I'll just keep doing screen captures!

Printing issue
I recently updated to the latest build and have had a strange printing issue pop up. However, I can't say with 100% confidence that this is the real issue since I've never had to produce jpg's up to now. I'm also running a MacBook (windows via Parallels) 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/ 2GB RAM. I've in...

How is this effecient?
I just designed a small unit for a client and ran the cut list in order to get an accurate costing. The image I've included is what eCabinets spit out for my 1/4\" back panels - clearly this is not effecient!

Jon, The slider was/is definitely at the top of our list, but we're not sure if we can lose the space required. That's why we like the smaller Laguna TSS (although not truly a full slider, its a nice compact 'hybrid'). Our main needs are a scoring blade and accuracy on long rips. Of course going the...

Thanks Jon for the reply. I should have clarified a few things in my first post. So here it goes... We originally started out doing solid wood custom pieces but have, over time, ended up doing more and more custom built-ins and free standing wardrobes (a lot of loft spaces in Toronto). Our look is v...

Dream Workshop...
Hi everyone, Just doing a small survey of the group to see what equipment you would get if you were outfitting your dream workshop. I'm looking at updating our table saw, jointer, planer and shaper - these are the units I'm curious about. Don't worry about the small things like a mortiser etc., I'm ...

I know this thread is a few months old but... I've been running eCabinets on my Macbook (not a MacBook Pro) 1.83GHz Intel core2 Duo w/2GB of RAM, using Parallels 3.0. All I can sya is that it seems to run quite well considering. I've laid out a full bedroom with wall to wall / floor to ceiling close...

Software Suggestion - Parts Ordering/Client Sign-offs
I thought I would post this idea here for feedback. At our shop we find it hard to follow our own advice sometimes. One example is having clients sign-off on hardware options and materials etc. (we seem to want to get the ball rolling early and often end up wasting time while pieces sit around waiti...

Large Arrow Heads in constraint manager
Is there any way of reducing the size of the arrow heads in the Constraint Manager? I've found how to deal with this in the Line Drawing Editor, but I've got some small hole patterns I need to define in the Parts Editor and the Constraints are hard to organize visually with such large heads.

Joe - one more thing. Looking at your design, I thought I'd give some input. The unit looks great but we're finding that more and more of our clients are not going for the standard backsplash. Its seams that a more contemporary look is to tile the back and have an above counter sink. I've included 2...

Joe, Sorry to hear about that, but you win some you lose some. Good to hear about the bamboo though - not sure if we can get that same brand in Canada but there are definitely similar products. I'll have to do some testing myself at some point. Can wait to get that CS41! Sort of a pipe dream at the ...
