Expire Notice
My program is saying that this version will expire in 4 days. Is there a fix for this yet? I haven't seen anything on the forum.

Re: Door panels from sheet goods and nesting
I use display panel. I type in each panel. I added 1/4" material size in 4x8 sheet. I enter each panel and it nests it for me that way. I just cut from the print outs. It takes a bit longer but it gives me the exact size I need and I can cut from the nest print out. I do the same thing for lami...

Re: Recommended Laptop?
Thanks Josh. I know what to get. The problem I am having is finding the laptop workstation that eCabinets suggests. It seems you can't purchase what they recommend anywhere. Maybe it needs to be custom built. Thanks for the input though.

Recommended Laptop?
Can anyone tell me where I can find the recommended laptop to run eCabinets? It seems that on Dell or Hp websites they have everything but what is recommended. Any ideas?

Custom Layout Area
I was wondering if it might be possible to get a measuring tool in the custom layout area? It would be helpful in measuring for counter tops or angles that are odd angles. Does anyone else think this would be good, or handy, to have?

Figureing Countertops
I am trying to figure out the tops for the peninsula (curved section). How do you figure the laminate sheet for this? I am wanting to see if I can use one sheet turned diagonal so as to avoid a seam. Is there a mathematical equation that gives the distance for this? The top will have a 12" over...

Re: Adding Pocket doors to a cabinet
Donald, Is this what you are trying to do? If so you need to open the job and use the menu that opens on the right side of the screen. Use the Door/Drawer tab. Simply select door you want and type in the size. Create door and then move into place. Hope this is what you were wanting. Cabinet.jpg John

Re: Printing problem
I had the same problem. I called our printer guy and he upgraded the memory in the printer. HP Laserjet 5N. It is an older model. Since he upgraded the memory I have had no problems. It is not like brand new but it does the job very well. Will keep it for a while longer.

Re: Back Toe?
Thanks Josh. Yes, I do use a stretcher but was hoping, maybe, for a quicker way that would be apart of the toe kick set up. I assume everyone uses a stretcher.

Back Toe?
I have noticed that cabinets downloaded from eCabinets have a front toe kick panel. Is there a way to add a back toe kick panel? If not is there anyone out there that would like an option button added to the program that gives this option? I prefer to have the front and back toe added to the cut lis...

Rick,
Thanks. I will try that. I knew about that but I wasn't sure if it would show or just hide.
Thanks,
John

Partitions in LDE
Is there a way to have partitions show up in the LDE? Also, can fixed shelves and adjustable shelves be displayed differently in the LDE?
Thanks

Joplin, MO. Tornado
Ok, Joplin has a 3/4 mile wide by 6 mile long path of destruction running through the center of the city. Emergency Management is doing a great job with organization. The citizens however are in shock and lots of people wandering almost aimlessly through the city. Thousands now homeless. Death toll ...

Change Door Wood Species
Someone please tell me how to change wood species on doors. I am trying to make and save a shaker door in Alder. I can set the door the way I want it but when I try to change the wood it only allows Oak, cherry and maple, I think. So, how do I add alder to the list?
Thanks,
John
