System hangs on deleted lighting

I have a decent sized kitchen I'm working on and just went back to delete all the lighting (to reconfigure anew) and each time I hit delete and confirm my system hangs on the "Reconfiguring cabinets... message". The status bar pins at about 50% and the hard drive churns. I figure I shouldn...

Re: Another Wish- Since we are in the wishing mood

Well in the 1/2 hour since my last post my client wants to enlarge the piece by 6" which seems to me that I'll need to create a new counterop and diddle around with cutout circles once again. I don't suppose there is a smarter approach to this...

Re: Another Wish- Since we are in the wishing mood

Kerry, Your method of cutting out sinks seems like a worthwhile investment (until eCabs can make it so that you drop an object and the intersection become transparant/hidden). I am a bit confused on what you are doing. It seems like you are suggesting to: - create a display cube slightly larger than...

A simple "wishlist" suggestion - Move Increment Field...

It would be nice that whenever the Move feature is possible there should always be an entry field box visible on the left pane for it's value. In Room Editor you can see what the value was, but in order to change the value you have to use a right click menu / Obects or Pan to bring up the entry fiel...

Re: Splitting an Island Leg

Thanks Dan - that's what I was doing - simply jamming it in the cabinet and making the mental note to 1/2 my order. Just thought there might be something easy I'm overlooking.

Splitting an Island Leg

Anyone have a suggestion as to how I can split an island leg? I can't bring it into part manager but I am assuming this can be done quite simply. Here is the leg I'm looking to split...

Re: Another Wish- Since we are in the wishing mood

A sink cutout or any type of free-form cutout would be fantastic. Would be great to have a utility that you could click along the edge of the sink/vessel you are using to dimension it (like you do for the counter top by picking endpoints) and then being able to apply it to a surface and cut in/throu...

Re: Synchronizing Files Between Systems

Now that I've got Synch to work between my notebook & desktop with "My Documents" and eCabinets I realize I need to individually pick my folders. I seemed to migrate my key to this computer accidentally. Any suggestions on the "Must-Do" folders and files with eCab?

Re: Change Door Colors

Good grief that was way too simple. At least I've graduated to running in ovals instead of circles. I'm gaining on it.

Thanks again...Dan

Re: Change Door Colors

I am having a similar problem in that I cannot change the texture of my faceframe. I can do it for the doors however. When I create the faceframe it is in the stock I desire (Cherry w/Cordavan finish) but once I add the door (which is a Conestoga Door in Cherry - no finish available) and then go bac...

Synchronizing Files Between Systems

FYI - I did post this in another thread but if you don't catch it here is a good little program for synchronizing files between systems. It's called "GoodSync" and is working well to keep my laptop and two desktop systems in synch with client and eCab files. While Microsoft has offline fol...

Re: Organizing Jobs and Libraries

Thank You for the response Michael. I'll be working on laying out a folder system before I draft too many items. As an aside, I found a great little program that can synchronize directories between PCs. It's call GoodSync and is made by Siber Systems. I've used that company's program RoboForm for ye...
