Re: Y axis Out of bounds

I would start checking wires and connections - does it have the problem when just moving at the same location?

Re: Adj shelf holes in corner cab

Better yet, look at the settings in this pic, notice we have all three colums checked to apply holes, on the right side I gave the back holes a negitive number (-3) so it would put the holes off the part and they would not show up. Set your cabinet to these settings and then take a look and see if t...

Re: Finished ends

we finish the ends also

What if the owner sees the cabinets without the appliance in place, would they think we provide quality if we dont finish the ends?

Re: Adj shelf holes in corner cab

Andy,
Three holes would work as long as you use the shelf clips so they hold the top of the shelf. But myself I use 5 holes even with the clips.

Re: Trouble cutting cabinet parts

I agree that in an ideal world I would not have to do any flip operations. Is it possible to set up blind dado joinery without flip operations? This particular cabinet I showed is a frameless 4 drawer cabinet with blind dados on the sides, top, and bottom, with a fully inset back. Alec The back is ...

Re: Wish list

You can add job items with cost - also you can add items to a cabinet -

hover over right side, select Job Buy List, or Cabinet Buy List, you may have to scroll to the bottom and / or scroll to the right to see Add Items to Job or Add Items To Assembly.

Not sure about hinge

Re: Trouble cutting cabinet parts

It would be helpful to know what machine you are running or is this through the shopbot link?
Looking at your nest it may be ready for the flip opp to cut the back side dado then cut the out line, do you get any messages?

Re: adj shelf height compartment not individually highlighting

Instead of using your no cut wood, just use regular shelves then when you have them all set turn the shelves in phantom parts and they wont cut. you can change them back if you need to see them.

Re: adj shelf height compartment not individually highlighting

If I zoom in tight on a shelf I can select it and delete it, I deleted all shelves and can add shelves but after adding a couple the problem comes back. I tried with a standard frame-less cabinet and it works fine, not sure why your cabinet is corrupt? Do you have more cabinets that act the same way...

Re: Suggestions on how to drill three sets of shelf pin holes

Is there a reason you cannot use shelf pin holes? You can mark the shelves as Phantom parts and they wont cut.

Re: Close call today, CNC fire

Had it happen to me also, while cutting regular plywood a small part came loose, it rode the bit up and stayed with it while trying to cut the next part. It didn't take long and we had a 2 inch hole burning embers. Had a bottle of water near by, shut everything down and put it out. Can't leave those...

Re: Problem with Shopbot Link and Write to Shopbot

Don, It is trying to use a tool for an operation that is to large. Not sure what you are nesting but could be drilling holes, cutting dado's or outline. I would try to nest one or a few cabinets at a time to narrow it down to a cabinet that is causing the error, then look at my construction of that ...
