Thanks for the reply Dennis. I no longer own my router (unfortunately) so I am looking for someone to maybe do the carving for me.

Carving rentals

Is the carving rental program still available to Thermwood router owners? If so, is there anyone out there willing to give me some pricing for some carvings? I am in California.
Thanks!

Re: Cutting Solid Core Bamboo sheet

Hi, Dave. I recently cut a large job with bamboo slab doors and experienced no problems. The bamboo was three ply and 19mm thick. I used a 1/2" compression bit and made all the cuts in one pass. The bamboo is hard so I did slow down the feed rates about 25%. 8)

Unfortunatley, due to the severe decline in construction in California , not only am I losing my router but I am shutting down my shop. I purchased a CS 45 and I love the machine. ...

Re: Ease of Doing Curved Units?

Hi, Nat. Yes, you can do radius work relatively easy in e-cabinets. Attached is a wine tasting room we did with a curved bar wall and tops. To generate the full renderings for the customer took about 10 hours but you can draw and cut the parts needed to fabricate the wall and sub tops in considerabl...

Re: KD Rafix boring bits

Jason, are you using a Thermwood router? if so you do not need 10mm and 20mm bits as the router will cut the holes as a pocket using a smaller bit. 8)

Re: Drawer Slides, Different Types Same Cabinet?

Nat, you can designate a different drawer box, drawer front, drawer slide, or drawer/drawer slide placement for each opening. Select an opening then the drawer/hardware details and add the drawer. Select another opening and you can change any or all of the original choices you made for the first ope...

John, just add a stretcher to the cabinet and it will resize with the cabinet. Then you can use your pre-made sleepers. 8)

Re: Automatic oilers?

Terry, we had to mess with our oiler alot when we first got the machine. We turned up the oiler until there was oil running out everywhere and then backed it down. We had to put a small wood sliver in one of the lines, cock the block on the back of the gantry out of level, and make sure that the gla...
