Re: CNC router purchase or not

I have a question for you Thermwood owners. What sold you on Thermwood? Versus, say Onsrud?

Off topic. Doors on wide TV cabinet

I need some input on what kind of doors to put on a TV/entertainment center. It cannot be more than 14 or 15" deep and they would like the widest TV possible, up to 50" or so. What have some of ya'll done? I thought about bifold pocket doors, but would like to hear some of your ideas. I'm ...

Switching lights off/on

I really wish I could hide the lights without clicking on DONE and coming back into PRESENTATION. It be so nice to get lighting the way I want it and then switch the lights off. It would make a great program just that much better.

Measuring in the Room Editor

Is there any way to be able to get measurements in the Room Editor like you can in CE with the right click and then MEASUREMENT?

Re: CNC error in CE

Todd, When I build a drawer in CE I get a "failed in generating CNC code" error, I press OK and then I get "There was an unexpected error whilehandling CNC data operation in Drawer Box Editor Reverting to previous body". When I press OK then it builds the drawer box and one side ...

CNC error in CE

Does anyone know when the patch to fix the CNC error when making drawer boxes in CE will be here? It's sort of a pain to just put fronts on without the boxes getting included in cutlist.

dovetail drawer problem in 5.2

I designed a set of cabinets in 5.1 build 5 with dovetail drawers. Now I've upgraded to 5.2 and when I go to finish the drawings I get errors when it builds the drawers in CE. Finally gets them drawn but with one side poked up vertically out of the cabinet. Any ideas?

Thanks. Just what I needed to know. Must be far-sighted, can't see it when it's in front of my nose!

Setting hours in CE

I cannot seem to find where to set the amount of hours needed to build a cabinet. Can someone point me in the right direction? I can see where to set Cost/Hr in Define Costs but not the hours needed.

Re: mac computer

Michael,

Bootcamp is a Mac OS X startup program that allows you to choose if you want to load Mac OS or Microsoft XP or Vista. If you choose XP or Vista, whichever you have loaded, then you have a bonafide PC machine, no different than the one you have now.

Re: mac computer

I run eCab on a MacBook Pro with Bootcamp and Windows XP. (2.33 and 3 gig of ram) I have had absolutely no problems with it. It's not quite as fast as our computer at the office but that one was spec'd and bought specifically for eCab. For taking work home and going to see customers it's never a pro...
