What would you think is the best way to do this? could it be added to the wish list as personally think that any part that cab be cut within a cabinet should have the ability to have edge banding on and so on

ye thats right, i know i can do a stretcher but without the edge banding, maybe this is the best way. i just wondered if you could do this with a shelf but it doesnt look like it. thanks anyway
