Re: Cannot Change Cabinet Dimensions
Thank you Ryan.
Since they were simple cabinets, I rebuilt them and assigned a thickness to them equal to the face frame thickness like you suggested. Works great now.
Much appreciated!

Cannot Change Cabinet Dimensions
I removed all of the parts of a cabinet except for the face-frame and back, did some editing, and saved it. Now when I load it into the Cabinet Editor, I cannot change the dimensions of it on the main screen. The boxes are grayed out and do not allow me to enter anything. When I try to change constr...

Re: Custom Layout Problems
I still do, however, question why the cabinet locations are in reference to the outside of the walls. I don't see how the locations even relate to the X and Y axis that are shown. I could see it being very useful.

Re: Custom Layout Problems
I rebooted my computer and it seems to work fine now. I should have tried that before posting. Drivers are up to date.

Custom Layout Problems
1. When selecting a cabinet or item in Custom Layout, about 40% of the time the design will disappear. I can still see the tool bars and information area. I have to click on the display area a few times and the design comes back. This happens in both the Overhead/ Main View and the Elevation/ Wall V...

Re: Banding Not Found?
It looks like the program converts 1mm to 1/32" in My Materials and .0394" everywhere else and the recognizes it as two different materials. I change the Dimension Display to Inches and Decimal, tried to reload the cabinet, now it was doing the same thing with my OTHER edge banding. I went...

Re: Banding Not Found?
I tried to change the banding of the doors in the Door/ Drawer Front Designer and get the same problem as above. I clicked on Add New Material and I get this:

Banding Not Found?
I am using build 3. I have just modified a cabinet, saved it, and when I try to reload it into Cabinet Editor, I get the Material Not Found window. The cabinet does not have this edge banding anywhere on it and it does not have any doors or drawer fronts. The seed I used to make this cabinet has sla...

Re: Problem with cost sheet
Ryan, eCabinets is still not including overhead in the total that it uses to calculate the percent markup . (( Total Material Cost + Total Labor Cost ) X Percent Markup ) + Fixed Markup = Profit NON-Catalog Cabinets I noticed in your last post that you have (fixed) after overhead in your example. I ...

Re: Build2 1b
I've already done the system restore. I assume you are saying not to reverse it. I will go ahead and install build 2 1b.
Thanks,
Derrick

Re: Build2 1b
I Installed Build 2 and lost my hardware, materials, and dynamic markups.
I just did a system restore and was unable to retrieve anything lost.
Should I now reverse the system restore? Install Build 2 1B? Or is there something else I should try?
Thanks,
Derrick

Re: Problem with cost sheet
Thanks Ryan!
This is exactly what I was hoping for. The cost sheet looks to be accurate all the way to the Total Cost. From there it is simple to determine the Selling Price manually until the next Build comes out.
