I guess I should have tried this a little sooner. I just switched from landscape to portrait and it fixed the problem. Did you know landscape was a problem?Clint Buechlein wrote:Derek,

Re: Top of prints get cut off..
I've tried both with no luck. And I've tried on several different printers too. I've even tried adjusting the printer margins and offsets with no luck..

Re: Top of prints get cut off..
Here are some screen shots that show the problem if it helps. Maybe there is a better way of getting what I'm looking for?

Top of prints get cut off..
When I drill down to the part view on a cut list so that i can print all the dado dimensions and other cuts etc on a part, the top line of the part line drawing and the dimensions or notes above that line always get cut off, including in the print preview. This has always been an issue for me with d...

Re: Vista Ultimate
I haven't had the problem but I am running on Vista Ultimate with an ATI Radeon HD3870 with no problems. I believe it uses the same driver as yours but not positive. I also have a laptop with Vista Ultimate and an NVidia card that has no problems. Obviously this doesn't rule out the video card as yo...

Kerry, you are a god! Thanks so much!!
On a side note, how in the world did you learn so much about cad? Is it all self taught or did you take some classes? Maybe you were a cad designer in another life?

Re: How to create an over the sink / window valance?
I thought about trying the display board, the problem I thought I'd run into is that I'd have to use 3 of them. I will do this if it's the only way, but I figured there must be an easier way which is why I attempted the display cube. The reason I need 3 sides is because it will need to have sides si...

How to create an over the sink / window valance?
I've seen a lot of examples of them on the forums, but no good explanations of how to create them. If there is one, could you point me to it? Otherwise, could someone possible post a good explanation here for me and future newbies? I tried doing it with a display cube but I couldn't figure out how t...

Re: Looking for a Broan Elite 64000 series range hood or similar
Kerry, I don't suppose you or someone else could help me out with one more thing. Maybe I should have posted this on it's own, but I've been trying to convert the cad file for my oven into a hsf but even though I get it into ecabs, it looks awful. I used the programs recommended in this forum, but I...

Looking for a Broan Elite 64000 series range hood or similar
I am looking for a Broan Elite 64000 series stainless range hood or something that will look somewhat similar. The important thing is that I can make it 48" wide, 10" tall and close to 21" deep. As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the help! It looks like the edit trick from Gene was the simplest and so far I've had no problems since!

Re: ecab problem
I completely agree with you Dan but one thing I have found with internet explorer is that a perfectly written piece of script can break due to unknown factors such as a BHO (browser helper object) that blocks or redirects certain functionality. In fact, many viruses work in this way and cause very s...

Re: Countertop anomaly? Messing up my renderings now...
The job was originally created on a WinXP (x32) machine. I started getting the problem while editing on my Vista (x64) machine so I loaded the job on the same XP (x32) machine the job was created on and the anomaly was still there. I know that ecabs is not supported on Vista or x64 so if you believe...
