What about Ecabinets
I have not been following the forum for some time now. Each time I come back it seems that there is more and more support for other peoples products. 20-20 is the latest. What about ECabinets? Are you still working of the development of that? Are we ever going to be able to cut a hole in a drawer bo...

Re: Machine won't home
I have had this from time to time. Not often but it happens.
It has always corrected itself just by re-homeing. Sometimes I might have to home twice in a row but it has always cleared up.
I hope it does for you as well.

Re: Labelling idea from the Germans
Prior to having the thermwood, I used Enroute Wood software for my old machine. It also printed the nest on the lable with the part blacked out in that nest so I knew what part I was applying the label. The labels were larger 2"x 4" but I could have a lot of information on them. I do miss ...

Re: E cab vs Planits Solid
I had a problem that was close to this one. It was becouse of an install that got cancelled before it was complete. Windows installer kept some files in the reg that caused this to happen. I had to go in the reg and manually delete any referance to the program that was installed and re install it. D...

Re: Problem with label
That is a great idea Dave, Thanks for that. I did get a new printer but I will add this to the new one.
Maybe I will get more life from it.
Again, Thanks

Re: Problem with label
It turns out that the Dymo labeler was at the end of its life. It did not stop working but it was giving me all kinds of problems.
I got a new one (same kind so no driver upgrade) and all is good.
It looks like my problems were tracking related and the 2006 printer was tired.

Re: I'm upset
I have to say that I have owned a competitors CNC and I have other software that I have paid dearly for. Time and time again there are issues. If you have a catalog of cabinets that do not change much then you can get them to work without much problem. However, The investment in their software and t...

Re: Color Coded Labels
From what I know, The color labels will only work from a color printer. the Dymo label printers are black and white. You need sheet form labels and a color printer. I hope that I have the wrong answer here but no one has stepped up to say that the Dymo solution does not work for the color labels. Gary

Re: Vacuum Problem
There are several factors that could cause your problem. Your spoil board should be re-surfaced as well to be as flat as possible. Get rid of any machining marks in your spoil board. Then start with a new spacer board that has been machined both sides. we do not know the specs on your vaccum pumps n...

Re: LDE Printed Fonts Look Awful
I had trouble with my cad software and PDF files. I switched to using a program called Desktop PDF to create the PDF files.
All my text and some graphics cleaned right up. My problem was not the program but the PDF writer I used.
At the time, I think it was Adobe.

Re: Label symbols
For got to say, I do agree with you about changing to a number / letter system. The concept is great but I do not know what all those symbles are so to say to someone, "hand me all the squiggles" seems kind of funny to say the least.

Re: Label symbols
Although this answer should come from the Thermwood people, There is a sub directory called symbols in the rolling nest / labels directory. This seems to be the location for the symbles they use. These are BMP files. I am sure if you created new BMP files the same size with what you want on them, th...

Re: Problem with label
I have had problems with label printing in the past but not as bad as I had since upgrading but I really do not think that the label.exe file was changed for the update. There are a series of things that happen when you nest a job then print a lable. I do think that there might be a bug in the syste...

Labels and Crystal reports
Can you tell me what version of Crystal was used to write the labels for E cabinets / Control nesting.
My guess is 8.5.
Thanks
