OK panic over,
for some reason I had the 'Scrap Part Recovery' checkbox ticked in the load screen . Phew.

Not nesting properly
Hi all,
Just encountered a weird issue on my CS41 . Everything has been fine for years, now:
Each part is being nested on its own separate sheet (and the sheet looks to be the same size as the part itself)
Some parts are also extending beyond the bed when nested.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Matt

Re: profile modeler 'nest' direction
I got my X and Y mixed up there, but hopefully you get the gist.
The machine is attempting to cut long parts along its short axis, and we can't figure out how to stop it doing this.
thanks
Matt

profile modeler 'nest' direction
Hi From the UK. We've had our CS41 for some years, but are only now using profile modeler for the first time . We can create the part , write CNC, and cut the part OK . However the program appears to only want to lay the parts out in the 'X' direction when writing CNC. Parts that would easily fit al...

Re: Nesting to the center of the sheet?
Use the 'enter void' facility in CN to produce two voids along each long edge, covering the damaged area . These will not be nested on.

Re: CN5.60 metric ramp-in
Thanks for the reply John - this may be a metric-only issue. If I want the machine to create an actual ramp-in length of 150mm, I need to enter a value of, say around 3750mm into CN. The fact that this is a factor of around 25 leads me to suspect a mm-inch conversion. I have upgraded directly from C...

CN5.60 metric ramp-in
Dado ramp-in distance appears too short by a large factor. I'm guessing in the region of 25.4 times too short
Anyone else got this, or am I doing something wrong ?
Thanks

Contraints behaving strangely in V6
Hi all, We use a lot of constraints as a way of locating and moving hole patterns on the cabinets. I have recently migrated to V6 , but I now have several seed cabinets (constructed in V5) on which some panels are refusing to resize. It appears that some of the constraints are interacting in a new w...
