Re: problem with air pressure

We used to have a similar problem with the tools not wanting to release, for us it was a condensation issue. With the weather turning cold and having to turn down the heat at night to cut down on costs condensation would build and sometimes rust would develop on the tool(especially during the weeken...

Re: Deflection in Outline Cutting-Looking for Input Please!

Count my vote as well, we cut mostly solid surface on our machine, it's hard to get a tight seam on the smaller pieces when they are double passed, the same for our 3cm material which needs to be cut in multiple passes due to thickness and density(otherwise we'd have to use a new bit for every sheet...

Wasteboard Swelling

This morning as I was cutting my tool started digging into the wasteboard .02"(causing my double pass to be ineffective). The last time I flycut was 8 June and it had a thickness of .148 today it was at .169; It has been pretty humid lately, would the extreme humidity cause swelling of the wasteb...

Nest disappearing

Often I add a few panel cuts to my dxf. files in the control nesting to see if I may squeeze a few more pieces into the "unused areas" of the sheet(the dxf. files being countertops and pieces backsplash, buildup, ect).Lately when I go back to the load screen and delete the added panel pieces...

Re: Cnc for Solid surface like Caesar stone

Our company mainly does countertop work, both stone &solid surface(Our Thermwood dedicated to Solid Surface). When we fabricate with material like Caeserstone we send it to the stone shop to be cut on our waterjet cutter.A little cleanup sanding and it comes out beautiful.

Re: Machine size question

We have the 5'x12' machine, which it perfect for our solid surface shop. The length allows for the standard 12' sheets and the width is great because we can seam sheets beforehand and cut large tops out to size and shape(saving alot of unneccessary router work),this also comes in handy when our suppl...

Re: Table Bearings

I agree with Marius, the instructions seem vague(am I missing something?)There are apparently 2 bearings on each rail(4per axis one in front and back). Knowing how to maintain them will obviously cut out any "downtime", I've been wanting to check ours out as wellto make sure our machine is ...

Autolube dillema

Our thermwood today developed a pretty good vibration when travelling right to left. I checked the autolube, the resevoirs were full but there was nothing in the lines even though the air pressure was set at 8psi(as per tag on regulator) I increased it to ten, they filled up and the vibration stopped....

Is the rack made of wilsonart solid surface material or to display it?My curiosity comes from working in a shop that mainly fabricates solid surface material.

Oscillating Sander for model 45???

Does anyone know if there is any way to use the Model 45 to sand a flat surface? Does such an attachment exist? If so has anyone used one,and how...??? Use of such an attachment with the vaccuum table would simplify things greatly.
Thanks
