Re: Angled wall's trouble again.

The problem seems to be with wall 20.

I deleted it and it now successfully enters render mode.

Angled wall's trouble again.

http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtop ... =3&t=10110

I've got this problem again.

I altered wall's 18, 19 & 20 and while it saved ok, when I go to render mode it crashes.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the offer, I often to it like this. I'm working on a job at the moment thats already in the custom layout.

I like to but these ideas out there when I think of them. It's the best way to improve the software I figure.

Re: Profiling a oval shape

I'd never thought of it like that Kerry. Thank you. Just so that I am clear, would the attached DXF have that problem? I can see 16 segments but it looks as smooth as an arc. Also, I know I'm not half the craftsman most of you are here, but whats the down side to having a slightly messy cut undernea...

Re: Profiling a oval shape

I think you would have to use four 3 point arcs.

Working out the coordinates for each arc would take some thinking about, I'd rather go with importing a DXF if you can get one.

Maybe, I'm wrong on this.

Kerry, I look forward to hearing you wisdom on this.

Re: Profiling a oval shape

I was thinking more along the lines of using the DXF in the part editor of ecabinets.

Feature Request

How useful would it be to be able to select multiple cabinets/assemblies in the custom layout and take them to the cabinet editor as an assembly?

Thermwood wizards, how hard would this be to do?
