Re: Drill Bank Plunge rate

Our HSD spindle only runs at 3450 rpm. If it ran faster we could plunge quicker but I guess that's just a limitation with it. Do you have any issues on the underside of your melamine panels with blow out with the brad points? We are drilling all the way thru the panels. We are doing closet panels. ...

Re: Drill Bank Plunge rate

We're using the 9 spindle HSD drill bank to drill closet system thru holes in melamine. We're having to slow the plunge to 50ipm to get a decent hole quality with minimal chipout. We are using V-point bits (because we need thru holes) and have tried several brands and grinds. The bottom chipout is ...

Re: Auto Lube Has stopped working

Hellol mate

i would personally keep lubing the ball screw manually both sides untill the issue is fixed as this can avoid unwanted ball screw & bearing issues in near future

Re: L shaped Pocket Not Being Cut / CN5.71

It is probably an issue with what tooling you have available to perform pocketing operations. It may be that the only tool that is available will only fit into that section of the pocket. Refer to the width of this "groove" and make sure that you have a tool in Control Nesting that has a ...

Re: PROGRAM ERROR!!!!! INTERCEPT CALCULATION FAILED

Sorry, If you look at your screen shot, your Y axis program position is 65.229. Your distance to go is 4.741. This adds up to 69.97, not the 69.9694 that your current line reads. On a rectangular part we would edit the next line to read 69.9694. Not sure what your part looks like. Also not sure if ...

Re: PROGRAM ERROR!!!!! INTERCEPT CALCULATION FAILED

Mohan, we have ran your file here and we are getting same error on both your version software and the new software..We believe the error lies in the creation of the parts. Was a DXF file used to create this part, or was it drawn and created in part editor. If it was created with a DXF file, we will...

Re: PROGRAM ERROR!!!!! INTERCEPT CALCULATION FAILED

Mohan, We've been getting this error for 6 years now. Our previous work around was to have the cad dept redraw the part. This often did not fix the problem and wasted a lot of time. Recently we discovered that there was a discrepancy in the code. The line that was highlighted when the error appeare...
