Table Location

We have purchased a machine used, Thermwood 80ES. When I run some programs that were still on the hard drive from the previous owners, the Z is about 6 inches from the table. I have figured out that they were turning on the spindle manualy every program. It also seems that they were using fixtures a...

Re: KD Rafix boring bits

I used to program a Komo machine, where we used alot of rafix connectors. The 20mm bit we used was the one provided from hafele. Assuming you are going to be using the 2 posts rafix connectors, we just simpley used a 10mm drill via our drill bank. The carbide tips available, I dont think so. We neve...

Does anyone out there run this exact machine that would be willing to answer some questions? We purchased the router used, and are trying to get started, but we have encountered a few functionality issues.

Doss Comands

Does anyone remember how to use DOSS commands? I'm basically trying to view all of my macros files so I can learn exactly what they do. They are on my hard drive and I can see them. Just can't remember how to access them. For example, at my controller the prompt is C:\TWOOD> If I do a directory sear...

"M" Code Definitions

Thermwood 80ES Serial # 80ES254VOPA200040193SD91 This is an old router. I am new to the machine, and have been looking at programs from the previous owner. The controller is an old 9100, so I noticed that even the G codes are a little different. I haven't been able to find any definitions on the con...

Locator Pins

For some reason, entering single line text via the tab editor and inputing other M codes seems to work. For some reason I cannot get my pins to function at all. We have totally rebuilt each cylinder as well as the air distributor block underneath the table. It is listed in my manual as "M14&quo...

single line code

With the 91/9100 controller, i have created a generic part for testing. After pulling up the part file, I am using the tab editor inside the menu for single line codes. The reason I have been doing this is to test out my M Codes on the machine for proper function. For example I would enter M14. M14 ...

Re: Tool Length Measuring

My issue is I'm going to be putting a tool in for the first time, and I want to make sure my "Z" Zero would be correct. I have yet to figure how to configure my "Z" Zero.

I have an old Thermwood 80ES with the 91/9100 controller. We are just now starting to test the machine since we purchased it used.
