Re: Shelf holes feature request

Hi Jeremy They would be nice little QOL improvements. For line boring we adopted a idea I saw posted on here a while ago which was to put in the bottom shelf and apply shelf holes up (perhaps 20) then untick add shelf holes button, save the cabinet then every additional shelf then gets added holeles...

Sets in Constraints editor

I had a quick dig around and couldn't find anything. So I thought I'd ask the collective Ecabs mind. Once you create a set in the Constraints Manager, can you uncreate it to re-edit? I was trying to change diameters and don't think I can ungroup it? Also can you copy and paste sets within the CM, I ...

Re: How to access the columns in batch cabinets for the Unit cost & Job cost

Actually, looking at it, I don't know where the job cost comes from, I've run out of time just now, perhaps others know?

Re: How to access the columns in batch cabinets for the Unit cost & Job cost

Hi Neville To get that particular column to show up you need "Special" jobs. Special jobs Like the one below. See the little c in the circle, that indicates its been saved as a catalogue cabinet. Also when you load it into batch cabinets it can't be changed in the batch cabinet load...

Re: RELIEF HELP ME

Hi Ismet I know the guys would like to help you, but its not so simple. To match the tooling to your machine (every machine is slightly different) and to get the correct tool lengths and tool paths is...........Semi complicated. Loading the wrong settings could break something. I am a beginner on th...

Re: Minifix Please Help Me

Hi Ismet I think the way you are doing it now with constraints is your best option. As I said above, while in Ecabs while there are many variable options pre-programed into the software, the ability (to my limited knowledge) to add a left and right pattern as per your requirements is not one of them...

Re: Minifix Please Help Me

Hi Ismet Sorry for not fully understanding. I think you want to apply just the 2 holes at the front and back of each shelf? 50mm and 82mm center lines? so no 3rd hole close to the front and back edges? I could be wrong, but I don't think you can add two different patterns to the same edge? (Does any...

Re: Minifix Please Help Me

Hi Ismet I think this is nearly what you want. The pattern is left and right handed so it puts in extra holes that you don't need. I adjusted the holes at the back of the cabinet to come in 60mm instead of 50mm because it was in the groove, but i saw that you can adjust that anyway. I think it looks...

Re: Machining single side material

Hi Dan Thanks for the explanation of plam. In our area we refer to it as melamine board, double or single sided We have had our machine for about 7 months, so still have tonnes to learn. :? and are still slowly learning operating techniques and procedure. (It's a secret desire of mine to one day vis...

Re: Machining single side material

Hi Dan What does Plam mean? I think It means what I Call BAMO back: Back At Makers Option, which means 1st grade one side and pretty good or tidy with key hole or butterfly patches the other side and is about 2/3 of the cost of "good 2 sides", say $70 a sheet savings, so on a 10 sheet job ...

Re: Mitered Cabinet

Hi Justin We don't use frames and I think it is a bit time consuming to set up because as far as I am aware there are no natural Ecab seed cabinets that will easily do the job. Perhaps some of the framing guys may be able to help out. :) I have attached an assembly that is frameless that may be usef...

Re: Mitered Cabinet

Hi Justin Probably need a few details, framed or frameless and perhaps a sketch of how you are thinking the units would sit, there are so many variations. Ecabs is good for drawing anything, sometimes it just take a while to get there. Some options.JPG Some options, but I'm betting you want the end ...
