Re: Door Issues again

In the attached unit its a sharknose door with doors from the door designer. It appears that it is possibly affected by the preview size which is 450mm wide and looses the top back profile cuts. BBQ Sink unit broken doors.hsf The door file that has been saved to the door library sharknose rev1.hsf I...

Label printer tools greyed out

Just wondering if I could get pointed in the right direction, thanks. I noticed in the upgrade 7.7 and 7.8 that there were some printing options added. However my menu for label printer tools is greyed out. label printer tools.JPG I downloaded the (Crystal Report Runtime for CNC nest reporting) from...

Re: removing the outline cut

Hi Chris
If your setup is similar to mine.
In control nesting under the CNC settings tab
20240311_084535a.jpg
"Cut all" is probably selected.
Change it to "no outline cut"s for the group that you put that material into and nest it with those settings.

Hi Jeremy.
I am pretty certain it has.
I think the file that Clint sent us above would have been incorporated into subsequent updates.

Re: Cabinet with angled ends or tops

Hi Leo I'm glad that you found it useful. :) That looks like a nice job. Its been a while since I posted this, so details have gone a bit fuzzy. I wish I had of written down the reason why I said to make it larger. :( There would have been some sort of reason, valid or not, but I forget why. Any way...

Hi Nicholas
PS to the above, I forgot to ask, but you might already be doing a graph screen and the program missed it.

Re: Door Issues again

Hi Nicholas. I'm sorry to see that. :( When I have problems like that , Clint gets me to send in the files for the guys to take a look at. Dare I say it? its not uncommon to have a few glitches until you get it to work by tweaking things. Also with a door like that I like to run a "test" d...

Re: Door Issues again

yes this would be a single Mdf large door made to look like 3 drawers on the bottom and a top door, all out of one piece. I was not aware of the group cabinet parts function thanks for bringing that to my attention, is there a guide for this or should i just mess around until I understand it (kinda...

Re: Profile edge problems

Hi Forrest and Clint Not sure if it helps. It seems to work on a frameless base unit. Forrest, you could use the rotate cabinet if you needed to display it. I used your .tol tool to apply the bead. I couldn't rotate the tool to apply the smaller groove. (I seem to remember that clicking on the left ...

Re: Door Issues again

Hi Nicholas. So I had a look at your door. And started a new door from scratch in the door designer. First I was having problems with constraining the pattern the way you had drawn it because the points were on top of one another. So I played around with the method a little bit putting in 2mm gaps b...

Re: Door Issues again

Hi Nicholas I haven't had time to try your system. I'm not sure if you are trying to match wood grain and cutting the single door into drawers and door on a panel saw or sliding saw after machining? are you aware of the group door and drawers function? Right click in the cabinet editor, group the pa...

Re: Door Issues again

Hi Nicholas. Definitely do as Scott Mashburn has suggested. You can create doors in the door designer and save them with the constraints for use on multiple cabinets, or edit individual slab doors from the cabinet / assembly editor and save that unit as a one of design. I looked at the (problem has ...

Re: is there Quicker ways to add leg predrills?

Hi Nicholas. I think the way i would do this, is to take that bottom shelf as it is now with all the holes in the correct positions, into the part editor. ( perhaps set up a 250mm / 10 inch one for the template)( So the pattern doesn't load off the part) Go into the contour area, (the button in betw...

Re: ERROR: Edge Banding Has Wrong Body

Hi Chris I had a random thought on this. Check to see if all your edging materials have an image assigned to it. I had named a material for edge tape called none with a zero thickness. Somehow it lost it's image as in the picture. (I reloaded it from another job that I knew had it on it to show you....
