Re: V6 speed

I'm not using a built in video card, I've got a Geforce 9600 with 512MB, is that good or bad? I find it hard to believe there's nothing that can at least make it a little better...I could do an average cabinet design in 5-10 minutes but the way it's running it takes over an hour; it'll take 5-10 min...

V6 speed

I have a 2.8Ghz Coreduo and 2GB yet V6 is still slow, worlds slower than 5.2 ever was. I though I might be able to find something here that might help but my searches were unsuccessful. Just moving around the program there is a 1-3 delay in everything, nothing moves smoothly or responds quickly. Goi...

Using ecabinets for closets

I have a rather large closet that a client wants me to do and I'm trying to figure out the most economical way of designing this so as not to waste a bunch of material. It's my understand many of the closet design companies use verticals suspended by some type of hanging rail, so you don't have to b...

Re: Why can't I nest the back of this?

Got it! Thanks. Got one more questions tho: I like to put a 5" base around built-ins and furniture pieces - none that size are available as moldings...how could you make that work?

Why can't I nest the back of this?

I'm getting this message every time I go to nest the parts that the back can't be nested - it doesn't give any reason why??? I don't have a clue...and while I'm here how would you go about wrapping the top in crown when it's cut back like that? Thanks.

Re: None of the hardware is associated...

I think you guys are misunderstanding me. All the hardware you can select - once selected, says there is no hole pattern associated with this hardware...so even if I then use that hardware and add a door, the hardware is specified but no hole pattern is added to the door. I'm not sure how to fix tha...

None of the hardware is associated...

I've been working hard at learning this software and I'm trying to get a grasp on the hardware portion and am clueless as to why none of the hardware is associated to any of the patterns...I'm guessing this is a flaw with my install - what can I do to fix this? Is there any list showing what files b...

New to eCabinets

I'm teaching myself the software and have hit a few snags that I can't seem to figure out myself: 1) How do you alter the vertical height of the cabinets in the layout screen? Both base and upper. 2) When I install a molding in the cabinet editor, use the nodes to position it - after I leave the scr...
