Re: Post processor from Fusion 360

There is no official F360 post processor. The 2 that I found done by users are pretty close but could be better.

Post processor from Fusion 360

I'm messing around with Fusion 360 and particularly the post processor. I found a couple that were made by individuals but I'm wondering if there is an "official" post processor? One hurdle is that I cannot add a G91 in front of certain paths. I can do it manually, but since I'm not experi...

Cycloid drive maintenance

I reads the manual on replacing the grease, but want to clarify things before opening things up. It says to put a grease fitting into the fill port, then open the drain port. Inject grease into the fill port, then stop when the grease comes out of the drain port. Plug it then run the motor (it says ...

Autolube settings

2019 Model 67 My autolube seems like it never worked quite right. My 1999 machine would have obvious oil residue on the rails and lead screw. Specifically, the Y rails and lead screw seem dry to me. I can adjust the "drip" and the feed pressure to the point that I see the mist coming off t...

Re: Problem with rotary helix programming with hand held

Ok, I finally got some time on the machine to test some things further. When I went through the sequence again, and the helix axis disappeared, I learned that even though it disappears the programming sequence does in fact work. I think what threw me is that the axis number disappeared and the blink...

Problem with rotary helix programming with hand held

I am having a weird issue with the hand held programmer and trying to program a rotary helix. The prescribed order of programming is: Shift 5 Shift 2 plus or minus to "wait" mode Enter axis 1 and 2 distance to center of fixture Shift 7 Enter angle of the arc and direction Enter Axis 4 (in ...

Re: Ice Qube not working

Yippee! It was just the fuse. Don't know why I didn't check that first - it was clearly labeled. Thanks for you help :D

Ice Qube not working

It seems the air con unit on the side of the control cabinet has stopped working. Its control panel is blank - no temp or anything. Any tips of where to start to sort this out? :wall:

Programmable router speed test during cutting

I'd like to hone in on some router speeds for different programs. If the router is in "program" mode you can't adjust with the speed pot. If the router is in "manual" then the router speed is not displayed. Any way to get that speed number? The workaround I'm using now is just to...

Re: Output an image to popup with AFL

So how would that work? What I want is for the image to be attached to the specific program. So when the operator hits the start button the image pops up on the screen, and then he will have to hit the start again to continue on with the program. Just sort of a double check on things.

Output an image to popup with AFL

With the latest control software... Using the "Window On" and "Window Off" and the "Print" command with the AFL (advanced function language), how would one have an image "print" in the popup window? Or, is there another way to do this? When starting a program,...

Re: Anyone ever get this error?

Thanks for the info. Related to the motherboard, the disc battery that is on the motherboard - I've never replaced it and this machine is almost 15 years old now. If I take out that battery do the bios settings get erased? It is safe to just pop out the old and put in the new?
