Re: Applied ends

Mark,
I installed the latest version of Ecabinets just now and tried the applied ends feature on your cabinet. I had no issue deleting the applied end that you had installed. You might have a gremlin

Re: Adjustable Shelf Question

Would it not be quite simple to create an upper cabinet with no shelves in it and save it in your library. You might call it range cabinet to designate it as a cabinet without shelves and make it an appropriate height before you save it. Then when you create your batch list just select it and adjust...

Re: drawer box losing RTA fittings

I would try using the drawer box designer to build a drawer with rafix fitting and save it to "my Drawers" or whatever. Then when you build a cabinet choose your drawer style from the drawer library. That may lock your rafix construction settings rather than setting them up each time you w...

Re: Shelf holes feature request

Hi Jeremy, I'll ramble a bit. Many years ago when everything was done on conventional tools (table saws, drill press etc.) I was running a 3man shop. I did not get a lot of on the job experience before I started my own shop so I did a lot of trial and error type of developement to learn my craft. I ...

Re: Minifix Please Help Me

Ismet, You can create a pattern with the dowel hole but you cannot mirror it so if the dowel is to the right of center it will be right of center on the front (82mm to center from the front edge) and right of center on the back (18mm from the back edge). The only work around is to use the three hole...

Re: Hp Printers - No leaders

Terry, I do not envy you the amount of snow you are getting, we have had about 18 inches to 2 feet which is maybe a little more than usual. We have had about six weeks of extreme cold temperatures, about 15 -25 below farenheit. Looking forward to a break from that! Back to printers - I have no furth...

Re: Hp Printers - No leaders

I had a similar problem some time back. I ended up finding the driver disk that came with the my printer and installed it. That solved my problem. Windows 10 ( which I do not use) has a habit of doing updates automatically which may or may not be productive (and I never figured out how to disable). ...

Re: Blind dado flip of not cutting correctly

Jesse, I am not familiar with your machine so I cannot offer much. I work with a ShopBot and I do a lot of flip ops. That does not mean that I haven't had problems. Some of the problems that I had were tooling size. I could cut with 1/4 inch but not 3/8. When I pocketed I had to change directi...

Re: Blind dado flip of not cutting correctly

Really hard to know where to begin until more info is provided. What machine are you using? How are you setup? what kind of hold down system do you have? Are you doing flip ops first or last? Maybe a picture of the machine. Are you using different tooling for different operations?

Re: Full Dado with Pilot Holes?

I use a modified kd pattern starting with the hafele model which is default. When I rename and save it the file type is applied by the software as it should be. I have attached a recent project that I did for a local business and used locked dados with my modified pattern. One other thing I will men...

Re: Is there an easy way to move walls?

Don If you first highlight the two walls you want to move then move the cursor to the end of the build side until you get the blue dot and click it. It should turn red. Move to the inside corner with the cursor and you should see another blue dot . Click that and it should turn red. Go to the far en...

Re: Some Part editor questions

Mark,

Could you "clarify" what part of the "hole" you are trying to constrain when your formula gets a random result and should I assume that the "hole" is circular in shape.

Daniel,
Thankyou for that explaination. It is not always obvious what is happening and sometimes the help menu may get overlooked.

Re: Some Part editor questions

Daniel, ANswer #1- Is pocketing a drill or a route, say for a KD/RTA fitting or a cup hinge? Once the type of marker is established can it then be constrained or can constraints not be applied to all markers as you have listed? Or are you suggesting that constraints would have to simply be reapplied...
