Re: Thermwood Software and DXF Export Decimal Places
Oh yeah Will, Trust me, I can sympathize. Very, very frustrating and a huge waste of time for sure. But the next time this happens try the work around I mentioned above. I tested it again this morning and it was able to get us through the cut. It wont work every time you have this error if it is som...

Re: Solid Wood and Double Stick Tape
Yeah, Initially that was what I thought was going to happen but the tape that we have, although it works well in other situations, doesnt stick to the MDF at all. If it wasnt too much trouble to pass along the part # that would be great, or if you know the name of it I could probably find it. Also, ...

Re: Ramp In Not Being Cleaned Up With Double Pass
Yes, I have noticed that too. And in my case it was also leaving the entire ramp in there. Ever since that happened I have not been using the 2 features at the same time so I'm not sure that I can recreate the files for you to see. I guess I could just do a dummy run and export the file to you. Let ...

Re: Starting Spindle While Using Hand Held Programmer
After a few trials and tribulations we were able to figure our how to make this happen.
Basically we just wrote our own code to operate the spindle and then moved the head along the axis' with the Hand Held.
Thanks

Re: Starting Spindle While Using Hand Held Programmer
Will, That is how it has been done up until this point but it seemed like a better way to use an actual edge finder to ensure that our measurements as exact as possible. Using a half inch bit we would have to spin the bit by hand until the threads seemed as close as we could get to the fence but it ...

Re: Flip Operations cutting back dados 3/8" off from specified
Hello, After Remeasuring our fences and comparing it to the figures stored in M999 settings, I have discovered an apparent discrepancy. The 901s were off by just about .25 on each axis. I have since updated this information in our system I then loaded a single part with a "Flip First" oper...
