Re: Idea for the make phantom parts option

I agree with you. It would also be great if the same thing could be added to the stretcher editor, as well as having the ability to add part names so that we could give the stretchers a meaningful name as they are added.

Re: Shelf Standards or pilasters

If you want the standards running top to bottom on the ends you may want to try using up/down stretchers with a left/right orientation with full dadoes. Then set these stretchers to be phantom parts.

Hi Kerry, During the beta test they posted a couple of links to videos from their training videos on how to use this feature. However, it seems that the links have been removed from the beta testing forum.

Re: Adding a diagonal cut line on a part

Hi Donald. While in the contour mode Right click and make sure that angle snap and ortho are unchecked. this should let you draw the line at any angle.
Hope this helps.

Re: Suggestions on how to drill three sets of shelf pin holes

There is a setting for adding a center row under Add Shelf settings using the apply shelf hole settings Yes, but I don't believe you can specify the location from the front or back edge. It only palces the holes centered between the front and rear holes. I also don't know what the "single row ...

Re: How do I set costs for doors that are "build in house"

Hi Andy, While in the pricing /design Stage of the job set all of the doors and drawers to Alternat source. Then when it is time to send the job into production you can use Global item modifications to set them back to build in-house.

Re: Resizing Display Boards

Hi Donald, You will have to resize them manually. I use stretchers rather than display boards. If I need them to be out of solid stock. I use a sheet stock that is named solid stock. to allow them to be filtered out at the machine. I have a video that I show how to use stretchers to make fluted mold...
