Missing Variable feature in door designer

Why don't we have the variable feature in the door or drawer front designers in the constraints manager?

Re: Door Issues again

You can constrain the profile cuts the same way that you constrain geometry

Re: Door/Drawer face designer issue

Hi Guys. You can also do this on a whole job or library by using global item modifications. Under door and drawer settings check change door and/ or drawer grain and enter the degree that you want it rotated by. This is my preferred method as it keeps me from having to do it on every individual cabi...

Re: Catherdral Doors

Hi Leo. Are you wanting a five piece door or a Mdf door? For five piece doors, in the door designer. select Conestoga then standard. The CRP 30 is an arch and the CRP 20 is a cathedral. If you are going to build them in-house you can set up the specs in the details for cut list. Alternatively you ca...

Re: Wouldn't be nice if...

Wouldn't be nice if the cabinet list report had a column for the cabinet type. This would make it easer to export existing jobs from custom layout to a batch job using an excel spreadsheet.

Re: Using plywood for door panels

Hi Donald. You can set up a board stock named 1/4 sheet stock. Then export the cut list to excel. In excel you can extract the panel sizes using get and transform AKA power query. You can calculate the square footage or even export the panels into eCab. batch. I have a series of videos on how to cre...

Re: Possable to change file extensions?

I don't know if this will help or not, but you can take the cabinet or assembly into the line drawing editor then from there you can export it as a dxf file.
