Re: Cabinetshop 43 or 45?
I have got quote for both 43 and 45, so now I know I can afford only the 43. I will buy all the accessories for it though, such as autolube, auto labeling and auto unload. Is anybody using the auto labeling feature? Is it worth the money? Regarding the drill bank I agree with Neville, if the machine...

Re: Cabinetshop 43 or 45?
Hi Kerry,
Thanks for the info. What about the drill bank? As I know its only available with the 45. I'm not sure though whether or not I need it.

Cabinetshop 43 or 45?
Hi guys, I'm about to buy a new CNC. Pretty new to CNC machining but I'm using eCabinets for a long time therefore I will go for a Thermwood. I tried to get as much info about the CS43 and 45 but still don't really know what is the real difference between them. Which one is the latest model, and wha...

Re: Hidden line rendering, wide angle view
I have found a solution how to change the angle of view, but it works only in rendering mode, not in the line drawing editor. In plan view zoom out a bit, then change to render mode, then zoom back in and voila! The more you zoom out the wider view angle you get. If the zooming out is too much, the ...

Re: Changing door / drawer front textures.
Try to create a material with this texture, then in the cabinet editor make anything using this material. Then click on this part, then click Match Texture from the right click menu, then click on your drawer fronts. Finally you can delete the temporary part what you don't need. It should work I thi...

Edgebanding is not shown in cutlist exported to Excel
Hi, I made an excel macro to convert the e-cabinet cutlist format to my own format what I can use. Regarding this I encountered an issue, probably a software bug but I'm not sure. With normal cabinet parts in the edgebanding column there are the correct notation (Front, Left etc... or none if there ...

Line Drawing editor problem
Hi, I have a very annoying issue with line drawing editor. Lets take for example a 600mm wide cabinet. When I take it to the line drawing editor and set the horizontal positioning, it puts the correct number (600mm) on the arrow line. Thats okay. But, when I rotate the cabinet to show it in 3D, and ...

Crown molding for angled front cabinet
Hi,
I can't put a crown molding properly on an angled front cabinet. The molding doesn't follow the angle, it goes straight. I mean angled cabinet, when the left or right end has an inset, and the top and deck follows this inset (angle part).
So what is the solution?

Re: Cutlist
Thanks Neville, I know I have to create a complicated excel macro, but to convert into a format what I would like to get just too complicated. It'd be much better if the cutlist itself was customisable. There is sunshine in NSW anyway mate! Wayne, I do use a cut optimisation software, but to convert...

Cutlist
Is there any chance in the next version to change the method of making cutting list for an assembly to a more simplified one? Now the cutting list has a lot of information, but it is absolutely useless in this format. 1. Should be a feature in the cabinet/assembly editor to change the cabinet names ...

Re: Elevated room
Thanks Josh, thats a good idea. By the way I think there is a bug in the program. In the Custom Layout -> Render View, right click menu: Texture options->Wall/Floor->Change Texture, there is no OK button in the pop-up window, so I can't modify the texture. Is it only for me, or it is really a bug?

Elevated room
Hello experts,
Is it possible to make elevated rooms in ecab system? There is a step at the middle of the room, 150mm high. What is the simplest way to make this?
