Re: AutoCad Layer Name

I have not tried this but it might be possible to make one layer starting from the left 9mm deep and a second layer starting at the right 18 mm deep just a thought. You would have to set the max plunge for that tool to 18mm though. And this could cause problems for other operations for the same too...

AutoCad Layer Name

Say, I've max penetration set at 9mm and want to cut a centerline of 18mm. When I put in the layer name centerline z18 d12, the tool makes a cut of 9mm depth (from left to right), retracts, returns to initial point without cutting and then repeats the same cut. Instead of it returning to initial poi...

Automatic Updating

By default Windows Automatic Updating is off. I experience occasional freezes on cold boots in the morning and maybe new updates would help. Is it a a good idea to perform Windows updates?

Re: Nesting to the center of the sheet?

Thanks a lot! Now, I'm working on to find out how to do that. I couldn't learn much from Control Nesting Manual. So on Sheet Entry I would tick Rectangular box and type (x)2800 and (y)2100 and on Void Entry I would type (x)1 and (y)1050. That didn't work. When I type in my MDF size (280x210cm) it dr...

Nesting to the center of the sheet?

I have the attached Panel List.xls. I need to fit 6 pieces: 2 by width (no problem here) and 3 by length. I use a 8mm knife. In order to fit 3 pieces by width I deselect Nest to the Edge of the Sheet. I can use a 8mm collar at max. However, both of the long sides (upper and lower 280cm sides) of MDF...

Re: Dividing a L-shaped Off-Fall

Thanks for your answers. If you decided to use it in another job, you would have to manually add that sheet in the add sheet area. It's OK that I would have to manually add that sheet in the add sheet area. You know, I was thinking, what you could do is write your own parametric scrap cutting sub pr...

Dividing a L-shaped Off-Fall

I size my 280x210cm raw MDF into a 200x200cm with a Panel List.xls that gives me a L-shaped one-piece off-fall instead of two pieces of either 80x210cm and 10x200cm or 80x200cm and 10x280cm. What to do?
Thanks!

I meant vacuum :) Ashamed, I'm looking for an edit button, but this forum seems to lack one? Or doesn't it?

Turning Off Vacume Switches: Ineffective

Hi, I was under the impression that I'm supposed to leave the vacume pump running for the length of the job. Yet turning zone 1 and/or zone 2 vacume switches off doesn't cut the suction, leaving me unable to unload nor load the table easily, without also turning off the engine. What may be the probl...

Re: The Nearly Complete Guide to eCabinet Systems

Hi Jason,
I'm Ayberk Ekşioğlu of Sarp Co., a relatively new owner of one of your MTR machinery in Turkey. I decided to invest time in learning as much as I can about how to do things I'm supposed to do with it. For starters, is there any upcoming update on the guide book soon?
