Re: Control software V5.58

What are you doing with a version 5.

We are up to 6.3 now.

Throw that away and upgrade.

Re: Shop Bot link work with other routers?

WoW!

Gary usually has more to say than that. :D

But yes, the short answer is NO, can't be done. No way, no how.

Re: Wholesale change of cabinet wood type/color

Don, The closest thing I know of is in room editor right click, click on Select, then select all. All cabinets should be high lighted. Right click, click on Change Material. You can change all the sheet goods here. I know in earlier versions I could change all the doors or drawer fronts. And if you ...

Re: Upper Cabinet Deck

If you don't have the material setup correctly, 2 sided, you will get this for sure.
It might be a bug in V6 but I have not seen it.

Re: Upper Cabinet Deck

I always have finished bottoms on my upper cabinets also. E-Cabinets always nests 2 sided material inside up. The inside gets machined first, then you need to flip it for the tenons. If you are using 2 sided melamine where both sides are the same it nests it outside up. Then you need to flip it to m...

Issue adding panels

My computer will hang if I add a panel to my room.
A piece of sheet good for a desk top.

If I go and click exit and cancel this un-hangs the computer and things work fine.

This only happens with the first panel. Additional panels work fine.

Material Thickness

I just created a TWD in V6. Much better interface BUT - when ask if I wanted to change material thickness, I measured what I had and said yes. I changed the thickness and it created my TWD just fine. I later went to open this file again and found the program had changed the material thickness in the...

Re: Cutting option for SB Link

Don,

I think you can specify 1 particular bit for cutout.
Then you can specify another for everything else.
Isn't there a place is "Settings" for the cutout bit?

Re: Shopbot link and restarting file

Marc, I can try to help. 1. This would be some custom coding in the C6 file. I have run across the same thing and wanted to know which Bit (HEAD IN MY CASE) the program was referring to. I added some code to appear in the prompt window showing which cutting head the file is going the use next. 2. Re...

Slab Doors and drawers

How do I get slab drawer fronts with vertical grain to nest with the door that will be below it so the grain matches up?

I thought I saw that high lighting the door and opening before adding the drawer front did it.
But I have a door/drawer that it does not work with.
