Re: Cut-out instead of pocket

is it drawn up to cut all the way through or just a pocket? because i'm not sure of any other reason it would do this. write the program. do CTRL+F ...look in the programming to see if it does a (pocket clean up) or (pocket rout). if it does a pocket Rout...then you need to re draw that pocket to cu...

Re: control upgrade

We upgraded my C-40 when we bought the CS-43, i think the C-40 over 10 years old

I had windows 2000 on it with weak hardware.

now its upgraded, expensive but affective. nesting time is reduced quite a bit, i wouldnt say cut in half but its much faster.

Re: Feed Rate Dropping (cs-40)

Thanks for the Reply Carl.

I found a loose white wire with the light blue stripe on the back wall inside the control panel. the screw was almost out completely so i tightenned it up.

I will post a message here by the end of the week with the results.

Hope that was it :)

thanks again!!!

Feed Rate Dropping (cs-40)

CS-40 computer hardware Gutted and Upgraded to windows 7. After about 2 and a half years of the new upgrade, Feed Rate dropping from 120% to the 90's and 80 percentiles. Changed the adjuster switch and it still does it. I tap the side of the machine and sometimes it jumps back to normal 120% and so...

Re: Improve Dust Pickup CS43

This Explains why would be extremely difficult to change Depth of the Bowl...

The tool holders on the C-40 are on stilts wich allow for a deeper grab, unlike the CS-43 wich cant go too far down because of the table...sucks...need try to make the vacuum pathway diameter bigger somehow :?

Re: Improve Dust Pickup CS43

See...the problem is not Vacuum...the Suction is great when the flex tube is disconnected...its the yellow Bowl itself.... was wrongly made...The bowl itself reduces the diameter, and a slot type opening that is not letting as much volume get through as the Awesome C-40's yellow Dust Pick up Bowl. I...

Re: Improve Dust Pickup CS43

I know this is an old post but...

CS-43 Stock dust collector , inefficient , is there another collector i should know about?...just had this machine 2 weeks now.

Or maybe i should make something of my own accord

I still have C-40 that works very well when it comes to (clean-up)
