Stagnation?

Hi folks, I have not visited the forum for quite a while. I have gotten away from doing kitchens, I have always been a really small one man shop, sometimes two. I have gone to one off furniture pieces and cutting my own parts. This is not necessarily by choice but just because this seems to be what ...

Re: Getting Started in eCabinet Systems

The best tip I can give you is to take one of Thermwood's classes, You will come out nearly up to full speed.

Thanks for the comeback Jean, I'll try it. Have you had any problem with it setting up in the gun?

waterborne lacquer

Campbell finishing systems now makes a product called waterborne lacquer. I was wondering if anyone has tried it. It would make a big difference to those of us who are unable to spray solvent based finishes if it works.

I took the three day course in conjunction with the woodworking show in Vegas. I believe we were told that the material covered was the same, but the practice time was somewhat less. Of course you do not get a tour but we did get show tickets. We did design a cabinet then took it over to the show af...

I'm sure that there are technical reasons that those more knowledgeable than I can explain to you. Here are a couple of reasons that come to mind. The software creates files that are used by their routers to cut parts. For that reason the versions of E-Cabs in the field must be kept current with the...

Mike, Man that smarts to get embarrassed in front of a customer. The good part of this experience is that will never happen to you again. When you calm down you will realize that this problem was not Thermwood's fault. Every previous version has had an expiration date, and notice was given. The reas...

Dan,
Sorry if my original response insulted your ability. I don't know if you just learned anything but I sure did. Best of luck as you get your sea legs with e-cabs.

Dan,

The answer to your question is yes. It is done in the part editor. Probably not the first thing I would want to tackle if just beginning to learn the software.

Denny. I am not aware of any way to do what you are asking. I had a situation where the builder flipped the home floor-plan because of a problem on the lot and didn't tell me until after the cabinets were built. I was surprised at how few changes were necessary I know of a habitat complex where the ...
