Re: How to create trapezoid openings in a wall

I think I would forget cutting the hole and just use display cubes

Re: How to create trapezoid openings in a wall

It is a clumsy way of getting there but it works.

Re: How to create trapezoid openings in a wall

Jeff, The only way I know to cut a trapezoid in a wall is to use a series of rectangles rotated to cut the pattern. Trap1.jpg You may have to use other rectangles to add back geometry. Trap2.jpg I would probably use display cubes in the part editor to create the window. If you can attach your photo ...

Re: Shelf Standards or pilasters

Stuart, In the hardware hole editor I am not sure the lines are actual X and Y Axis. As for my shelf, the pattern is drawn centered on what would be the x axis and runs left of what would be the y axis. This placed the cut on the end of the cabinet centered where my kd fitting would be. If I draw it...

Re: Shelf Standards or pilasters

Stuart, I did this in the past with a hardware pattern as you mentioned KV Standard.jpg The only problem was I had to apply a different hole pattern (for length) for base cabinets, tall cabinets and upper cabinets as well as different lengths for different heights of uppers. For a one off it is just...

Re: RELIEF HELP ME

Ismet,

It would help if you had a better image of the logo. The best would be an image in the .eps format. (encapsulated post script)
This will help to have clean edges to detect and create a .dxf.
The edges are too ragged from your small image

Re: Hp Printers - No leaders

Terry,

I installed the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit) for my printer from the HP site this morning and it fixed my leader printing problem.

Re: Crash in line drawing

Tom, I have had this problem in the past on different occasions. It always seemed to happen after a Windows Update and updating printer drivers was the solution. Do you have another printer available to set as default in eCabinets and see if that helps. It might give some insight on if it is a print...

Re: Design Sharing similar to Production Sharing?

Hey Tom,

The eCab store was something I was playing around with a couple of years ago but never did follow through with it.
I should probably take the link down.
I have lots of stuff but getting it tested and presentable for the store as well as addressing liability concerns got to be a lot of work.

Re: User Defined Operations

Hey Scott,

Good to hear from you.

I remember those links but couldn't find them again. I browsed through the videos on the training site but didn't see anything there either.
I have looked at the help links in the software but they just confuse me.

Joe,
I opened your cabinet in the cab editor and then went to Construction Settings/Toe Kick tab and exited without changing anything and this is what I got.

Re: Measure

Tim, Take the Standard Base Frameless and delete all the parts except the back. I changed the back to a Do Not Cut material Make the cabinet 3/4" wide and 3/4" Deep I make my cabinet 42" tall so it will show through cabinets. Save this as 3/4 Pipe (you can create a 1" material or...

Re: Louvered Door Tooling

Hey Justin, To I created the sawtooth tool geometry in Auto Cad, (you can do it in eCabs if you want) similar to what Scott has in his video Louver 1.jpg then I just profiled slots in the back to open it for ventilation. Louver 2.jpg It still isn't a great louvered door because the louvers don't ove...
