Re: Phantom parts
I have grown used to removing the Phantom Parts in the LDE so it doesn't bother me much. Re: Phantom parts
Forrest,
I think all parts of all cabinets will show up in the Line Drawing Editor even though they are phantom parts.
You have to hide them manually in your line drawings.

Re: Cabinet Doors Lose Parts Hen resizing
Tom, We had that problem with an older HP printer in the shop office. I found some older drivers (HP Universal Printing PCL6) for the printer that fixed the eCabinets print problem. I have since gone paperless so I print everything to PDF. If you still want a paper copy, Print to PDF from eCabinets,...

Memory Lane
I have been brushing up my resume, and gathered some of the more interesting eCabinet Systems design drawings I have done through the last 22 years. Most everything I do now is white painted shaker cabinets where one house looks pretty much the same as the next so it was fun looking at some of the m...

Re: Resizing Display Boards
Donald, I do vanities like that as an assembly. Each leg is a cabinet that can be resized The main box and the slat shelf are also separate cabinets that can be resized. If you resize the slat shelf width too much, you have to add more mid stiles to the face frame, but it is pretty easy to do. I thi...

Hey Mark,
The guys at eCabinets got the job working again and saved me a lot of time. I don't know what the problem was.

Re: eCabinets Crashes Opening Job
When I select the material with the .813 thickness in the Duplicate Material Found Dialog, it says the material is .813" Thick and 1.75" Wide. 813.jpg When I select the .8125 material it says the material is .8125" thick and 2" Wide. 8125.jpg This must be a throwback to when eCab...

eCabinets Crashes Opening Job
When I try to open THIS JOB
I get a prompt about single material with two thicknesses. After following instructions on the prompt, eCabinets crashes.
I can't find the problem material 0.813 thickness, in my board stock.
Other jobs open fine.

Recycle Bin
I have always wanted to know why eCabinets sends hundreds (sometime thousands) of .hsf files to my recycle bin every day?

Forrest,
I think it has always been this way but it doesn't seem right. Would like it to be fixes as well.

Re: I'm new user with questions
Hey Frank, The Line Drawing Editor is not dynamic so if you make changes in Custom Layout they will not be reflected in your line drawings. You will need to your layout, elevation or cabinet drawing back into the line drawing each time you make changes. For Layout and Elevation Views that you take t...
