Re: Unable to open ECabinets file data
I am suffering the same error. Multiple times a day I haven't found any other solution other than restarting my computer. Very frustrating. Spend 3 hours designing cabinets. Try to add them to a batch. Have to restart computer first. Want to make a change to one of them? Have to restart computer first

LockDowel Hole Pattern
Has anybody tried integrating a "LockDowel" hole pattern into ecabinets? Is it even possible? We are looking at "LockDowel" hardware but as the programmer I am hoping to avoid having to DXF all my cabinets. Does anybody have experience with these fasteners?

Re: Order of Drilling Stacked Holes
Not sure how you are creating your geometry but if you break the larger circle into 3 or more separate arcs the machine may read it as a pocket. The small hole with be machined first will a drilling operation and the larger hole will be machine after with a pocketing operation.

Re: lost dimensions
To me it looks like the cabinets are coming into the line drawing editor in "Perspective View" for some reason. Haven't found a way to correct this yet. A slight work around is to bring the cabinet into line drawing editor. create a dimension (it won't show up). Then right click and hit &q...

Re: tool change mid job error
M60L# Input. Halts program execution until outside circuit is either open or closed. Maximum of four circuits per block of code. May inspect one input circuit at a time. Closed circuit could be M60L2. Open circuit could be M60L-2 at TTL level. Firstly I would turn it off and then turn it on again. T...

Re: line drawing editor-no measurements
I am having the same issue. If you right click and click "reset view" the dimensions will show up. It is annoying. It seems like the cabinet is coming into the line drawing editor crooked or something and it is throwing of the dimensioning. I think maybe the cabinets are coming in with the...

Re: CS45 Ram Upgrade
Well the ram has helped speed things up but not as much as I had hoped. I am now able to load and nest more sheets and parts than before but I am not yet really satisfied with the speed. That's an interesting point Michael. I will try to minimize some file paths and see if I can get a little more sp...

Re: CS45 Ram Upgrade
Thanks for the replies guys. I have ordered 2 gigs of ram off of newegg (about $96 CAD) after removing the current module and photographing it to be sure I ordered the right type. I plan to upgrade the controller within the next year so this should hold me over and save me from those frustrating cra...

CS45 Ram Upgrade
I am interested in upgrading the ram on our 2007 Thermwood CS45 as we are still at 512mb. The machine has a tendency to freeze and stop responding when I try to "write CNC" for large jobs or multiple parts with extensive toolpaths. The types of jobs also take long time to nest. There is al...
