Re: Where is my table, in relation to Z0 home? CS-45

Sorry, worked late Friday getting a job thru the machine and was not able to post the results of efforts to help out.

Thanks be to Clint, it worked magnificently... onward and upward.

Where is my table, in relation to Z0 home? CS-45

Ok, so we bought this CS-45. As mentioned in a previous post we will probably never use the vacuum table part of the machine, so we bought a 3/4 inch thick aluminum plate and placed it on the table. I placed 16 standoffs, trying to cover as much of the plate as possible, bolted thru the standoffs to...

Re: Fixture offset changes Model CS-45 WinXP vs. C-50 Win7

Daniel,

This is a case of not looking thru enough pages. I did in fact find where one needs to press F10.
This control is much different than our C50 which has been upgraded.

Thanks for looking into this.

Fixture offset changes Model CS-45 WinXP vs. C-50 Win7

Not sure of the version, but I think it is 6. Here we go, we now have 2 routers, one is an older C-50 that was upgraded to Win7. This newer machine runs on XP I think. Anyway, on the older C-50 machine we were able to change the fixture offset to accommodate each individual fixture placed on the ta...

Re: Model C50 with a second tool holder questions

Thanks for the tip... We do not make cabinets, strange huh, we actually make windows. I have one job that needs holes drilled and slots machined in an aluminum frame. Both heads function independently and will do what I want as separate programs. I just wish to run both heads within the same progra...

Model C50 with a second tool holder questions

Howdy, Long time follower, first time caller... Ok, We have a C50 Model and it has a secondary tool holder... Tool 1 is the main spindle with collet, and the second one is merely a drill on an air cylinder. We recently upgraded our controller to Win7, and while the tech was here he set up the secon...

Re: re-surface tool length sensor.

You can do that, I just used .2 thick nylon sheet and made another one...OR you can request a replacement from Thermwood, they have them.
