Re: Roughing feature not working for me

Tommy,

Can you post an export from Control Nesting, or email one to cabinets@thermwood.com?

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy,

Password should be thm.

Correct, by default Z offsets are not wanted in the Fixture Offset Table. Prior to version 10, desktop editions were not as capable at graphing. The -2 should create the offset you need to keep unnecessary error messages away.

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy,

In your fixture offset table, change the Z value to -2. That should get you going.

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy,

Either post your sync file saved from the machine, or email it to cabinets@thermwood.com. Also include a .twd you have tried and is not working. I may need additional files but that will get me started.

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy, Sorry I was out of office last week. We have two options. I can either get a list of files from you so I can try to replicate the issue on my desktop edition, or you can update the THM10 on machine and desktop then we can go from there. Updating to 10 will require you to run THMSync again as t...

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy, Looks like it is having an issue inside of a macro rather than the program itself. Go to the C drive and then to the macros folder. For the MACG800.THM, open it in Notepad, delete everything in it and then add one line that is M99. Do the same for 801-809 macros. Don't do this on the machine, ...

Re: Flip Ops Not Quite Right

Terry,

The amount to remove sounds a little low to me. Usually I set machines with .125" to remove and so far has worked well for me. You need to remove at least some material when the sheet trim is happening or the cuts will not be registered correctly.

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy, For the time being, you can verify the tool number that is being called just before that index motion has a daylight value. That should have come along with the toolman file from the machine. In the case of the macros, most likely you can copy from the machien and put them in the desktop editi...

Re: Flip Ops Not Quite Right

Terry,

Under Trim Sheet, there is an Amount box, what is your value in there? Also for curiosity sake, what version of ShopBot Link are you on?

Re: Where is my table, in relation to Z0 home? CS-45

For the curious minds, Richard is up and going. He worked through resetting switchspoil relative to the new aluminum table. He is also on a tipping point of THM software where the M999 macro was being used and called in the background so a couple variables had to be adjusted as well.

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy, Hopefully getting that toolman file will do it for you. For the offset file, look in the system folder for a file OFFSET.THM. If that exists (and it should), grab that and copy it to the same location on your desktop version. That all being said, if you update to THM10 on machine and desktop s...

Re: Desktop Software & Time Study

Troy, Sorry lost track with this thread. Z axis out of bounds typically will point to a tool number not having a daylight, both on the machine and the desktop version. As far as file to copy if you are using THM9 Desktop Edition: Machine: 1. On C:\ Drive- a. Contents of Rolling Nest folder b. Conten...

Re: Where is my table, in relation to Z0 home? CS-45

Richard, Most likely you are correct in the table heights being different. Before I can offer advice on getting it set up properly, can you post one of your programs you are attempting to run or email it to program@thermwood.com? Also, does this machine have a tool sensor on it for measuring dayligh...

Re: Kinda off the subject of eCabs - TWD CNC machines

The only need need air for on the machine is tool changes, placement pins, and vacuum valve to apply vacuum to the table as Jeremy said. Placement pins and vacuum valve do not require much air. Optionally you can have air assist which blows air under the boards to make loading and unloading heavier ...

Re: THM not starting

Next step then would be to make sure the memory stick(s) are seated properly in the motherboard. Same process, remove, make sure there isn't anything in the way and seat back in. Also check to make sure if there are multiple sticks that the amount of memory available for the system is accurate to how...
