Re: Line drawing issue

Tom, I'd recommend making sure your graphics card driver is up to date from the manufacturer. Do not check through Windows, go to the manufacturer's site to find the latest driver. Also, if your default printer is an actual printer, you can try uninstalling the printer, then reinstalling with the la...

Re: Tooling of part editor cuts

Stuart, You aren't able to specify which tool is doing the pocketing. Your only way to get your 3/8" tool to do the pocketing would be to eliminate the 1/2" tool from the list. Depending on what all you are cutting in the job, it may or may not be what you want though. Also worth noting on...

Re: Global setting for inset door/drawer ?

Andy, There isn't a way to do what you are wanting the way you currently are working. Instead, create a cabinet with the settings you want to keep from cabinet to cabinet and save it to your own library. Place that cabinet in the room and make the minor changes you need to make. That way any default...

Re: Tooling of part editor cuts

Stuart, Check you setting Tool to Use below Cleanup Amount in Settings. I'm going to take a guess and say it is probably set for Smallest Pocket Tool. If that isn't the case, can you post an export with a job loaded (preferably with just the part in question checked to be nested)? I can dig into it ...

Re: cross section view

Dave,

Cross section needs to be done from the front view of a wall. The wall must be selected and be at a flat view, not rotated.

I can see the same thing here, I'll get it sent to the software engineers. Thank you.

Carmen,

Can you post one of the cabinets and a full description of what you are changing? There's always a possibility a bug was introduced inadvertently and we need a repeatable scenario to work with.

could you add the new program time estimator as a custom action as well. I see us using that frequently

Tom,

A little behind, but that should be in the THM version we released a few days ago.

Re: Manual tool change

Morning Gentlemen, We have a similar situation where we have a few tools that are larger then the current tool holder can handle. We have made tools holders out of plastic to accommodate the larger tool. Is there some type of coding that can be called to: - have the machine go to home - shut off th...

Re: Dimensioning holes

Chris, I see the same thing here, I'll pass it along to the software engineers. In the mean time, and as a recommendation, I wouldn't use Display Panels. I rarely ever use Display Panels for anything. I take a cabinet, eliminate all the pieces I don't need and use it as my panel. Then it is resizabl...

Re: Pocket Cutting Off Profiled Edge

Troy,

Can you post the cabinet with the contour lines on it that you are trying to sweep? Also can you post the tool you are trying to sweep? I may be heading out early today so it may be Monday before I can take a look at it.

Re: Manual tool change

Okay, let's shift gears then. I need to be able to load a tool that doesn't fit into the standard vertical tool holders. Our little CS41 has 3 handy side-loading holders for this purpose, but the big CS45 does not. Seems like an oversight. I could exchange one of the side loaders on the CS41 for on...

Re: Manual tool change

Jeremy, The only way I can offer you is regarding what you see in the manual. The manual tool change option is a retro on to older machines and can be sold with new machines. It requires the switch and a software update to the machine. The process on the machine after the tool is set up, when the to...

Re: Waste Baord issues

Rob, If it were me I would try to determine why it thinks it is .060" higher before doing anything. A light crash of the machine could dislodge the spindle throwing everything off. Below are steps to reset tool sensor and everything to get it back in to the correct state. 1. Make sure a tool is...
